Chapter 6: Electroshock

Dr. Krane ----->

*Nurse POV

Where is she where is she! She can't escape.

I walked around the hallway rapidly looking in every room I passed. No....nothing there. Where could she be?

"Any signs of her?" The radio buzzed making my heart skip a beat.

"Floor 6, cleared" a woman spoke through it.

"Floor 5 clean" another nurse answered.

"Floor 7 and 2 clean" a man spoke. We got to find her! She might kill someone, she's dangerous out there.

"Gabi? Any signs of her?" A woman asked for me. Where could she possible be? Maybe she did get out and is now far into the woods. There's nothing out there for miles to come she wont survive in the freezing cold air tonight. Wolfs will eat her!

"Backyard cleared" a man spoke. "Gabi? You there? Answer" she spoke firmly.

I walked faster through the hallway I had one more aisle to check. I skimmed through each room. I felt awful for some of these people in here, they were just kids who couldn't see the difference from pretend and reality.

"Get out....GET OUT!" A girl screamed once she saw me. It didn't frighten me much, I've been getting use to patients yelling and throwing things all the time. In a way I think that's bad, the only ones that do scare me are from floors 5 and up, they will leave you nightmares. "GET OUTTTT!" The girl screamed one last time before I left the room to check the others.

"Gabriella!" The woman yelled.

I checked her room which clearly she wouldn't be t-....there she was! "She's in her room" I held the button to the radio making sure they all heard me.

My eyes focused on the girl who had her knees to her chest and her arms warped around her legs with her face dug into her arms. She looked so upset, and scared but who would blame her? shes been here no more than two weeks. I couldnt see her face but I imagined she looked pretty, she had wavy brown hair that cascaded down to her waist that I killed to have.

I quietly approached her making sure I didn't scare her off.

"Don't take me please" she raised her head to look at me. Her blue eyes looked watery she had fear written all over them. "I'm not going to take you anywhere you don't want to okay?" I whispered so I could get her trust. I made sure she wasn't hiding anything in her hands before I sat next to her, she looked harmless honestly.

"You came back to your room?" I was confused as to why she didn't run away, she could have probably made it out if she was able to escape those guards but instead she's in here.

"Where else would I go?" She whispered turning to face the window. Anywhere that's not here I answered to myself.

"Okay. I need you to take these sleeping pills okay? They'll help you sleep better and make this all go away" I dug into my pocket and took out a bottle of pills. They keep some of the patients who are more 'active' to feel more calm and slow. It helps us out a lot. I know its wrong drugging up our patients so they wont move around much but theres so many we cant handle all of them at once.

I extended my arm to her opening my hand to reveal 2 pills. She took them without hesitation and gulped them down. I poured some water into a paper cup from her nightstand and gave it to her to swallow.
