Chapter 9: Phone Call

*Bella's POV
I was still shookin up from what happened earlier today. She said he was coming for me, does she mean the person leaving me the note? Or the Tony guy? Or was she just saying those things because she thought there was someone out there?
"You sure your okay? I can take you to your room instead" Justin, Sisi and I were sitting outside. I didn't feel like having breakfast and they thought some fresh air would help me relax a bit. I turned my head to him and nodded.
"You scared justin" Sisi giggled covering her mouth. She looked at Justin who was leaning against the tree with his knees close to his chest. His hair was different today. He combed it and it was spiked up. His hair looked light brown outside and looked so soft I wanted to stretch my hand and touch it.
"He doesn't like it" Sisi answered pulling at the grass below her. I forgot she does that.
"So like, do you really read minds?" I'm not sure how she does it if she's only playing around. If she is she has a lot of luck being able to answer everything I'm thinking. "Mhm, and nope no trick. See" she extended her tiny arms showing me there was nothing hidden underneath her sleeves.
"Yeah. Kinda annoying at times" Justin chuckled. Sisi stuck out her tongue at him crossing her arms over her chest.
"But I mean how? You guys gotta be shitting me" I said sounding skeptical.
"Uh-uh" Sisi shook her head "no cussing, it's bad" oh right. But how can a little girl read people's minds? That only exist in books and movies not in the real world.
"She has a gift" Justin simply answered not really answering all my doubts "Hey Sisi can you go get me a beautiful flower for this beautiful girl" Justin spoke smirking at me. Sisi giggled nodding her head before dashing off on to her quest in finding the perfect flower for me.
"Sisi is special. She doesn't belong here" Justin spoke quietly looking off to where she had ran. "She has a gift, she's able to read what's going on through peoples heads but people mistaken it for craziness. It started when she was only 2. She would answer to people before they even asked her the question. They became afraid of her thinking it was a demon of some sort, her parents are really into that stuff" he shrugged his shoulders not really understanding them "They blamed it on some spiritual things, coincidence, and plain foolishness" he sighed. I looked away from him and kept my focus on the ground, he looked heart broken. "She was later submitted here by her parents who couldn't take it anymore. They were so scared of her they abandon her at the age of 3" I looked up at him with widen eyes. How can someone leave their child here at a young age? She looked harmless, but I guess that's why she got upset when I said she scared me. She must have felt I was another person who wouldn't understand her.
"Do they visit her at all?" I whispered feeling she would be able to hear me from a long distance. "No, they brought her here and just took off not looking back once" he took in a deep breath before continuing "that's why I look after her, I make sure she's happy here and never feels lonely again in her life" he smiled at her figure on the distance running back covering a flower in her hands from the harsh wind.
He cares for this little girl. The way he talked about her and looks at her, makes it seem like he's her bigger brother watching over her at every time. He doesn't seem all full of himself, maybe I was wrong about this kid.
