Chapter 20: The Escape

*Bella's POV

I saw a bright light through my door window, a mans face peeked and made a clicking sound registering me. He than moved along the aisle making sure everyone was in their room. I opened my eyes jumping off the bed and setting the pillows to make it look I was still there. I went towards my dresser packing a pair of sweatpants, shirt and a coat they had given us at the beginning into a plastic bag. That's all I was able to get in here.

I opened the window and shoved my bag out making it fall down and land outside where the woods were at. I cracked open the door and made sure no one was out there before making my way down. I stopped by Justin's room and looked inside, he was sound asleep. His chest moved up and down, his lips were partly open little snores coming out. His hair was messy and he wasn't wearing a shirt. I kept on walking and stopped by at Sisi's. I opened the door and saw her little frame curled up in her bed snuggling into her sheets. I sat down beside her making sure not to wake her up. I stroke her soft hair and placed a kiss on top of her head. "I'm sorry" I whispered.

I got up and closed her door. I'm leaving behind two people who actually care about me. Two people who will be disappointed when they wake up and see me long gone. I want to be free, get a job and live a normal life if I can but now I'm not sure if it's worth it. Is it?

Yes it is. Now stop thinking about them and get out!

I quietly looked around the game area, when the coast was clear I started fidgeting with the pool table. I hid a pin here last time that could be a good use to me now. "Here you go" I whispered as I found it and placed it in my pocket. I walked to the door that lead to the garden making sure no one was around.

"Bella" a raspy voice called from behind me making me freeze. I closed my eyes hoping I just imagined it. "Your leaving us" his voice carried sadness and anger mixed in it. I spun around and saw Justin holding a wide awake Sisi. She looked so heartbroken, her eyes shinning in the dark as she gripped on Justin's shoulder.

"You don't l-love us anym-more?" Her voice breaking at the end, I opened my mouth to say something but Justin raised his hand to shut me up.

"Dont Bella. I gave you time to tell her and you made her believe, correction you made US believe you were staying"

"I'm so sorry, but I just can't stay here. I can't do what your asking me, I care about you both I really-"

"If you did you wouldn't be sneaking in the middle of the night" Justin growled.

"Keep your voice down" I hissed although I didn't mean to be rude right now. Sisi started crying quietly and wiggled out of Justin's arms. She ran up to me hugging my legs and crying uncontrollably. I'm a shitty person.

"Honey please, don't cry" I bend down to hug her. Gosh I think I'm about to cry. No no. I blinked a couple time before picking her up. "I...I love you Sisi"

She looked up at me, her red puffy eyes wide open "than take me with you. Please Bella!" She pleaded. I looked up at Justin, his eyes soften but he was still upset. He walked up to me and placed one hand on my back.

"Do you have room for two more?" They wanted to escape with me? They must be joking, they've been living here for so long, I don't know how they'll take it out there. "Justin it's to dangerous I can't risk both your life's I won't" I shook my head. We saw a flash of light on the floor, someone was coming towards us. I took Justin's hand and ran to the side of the game machine in here that was at the corner of the wall.

"Shhh..." I placed one finger on my lips and looked at Sisi. She covered her mouth and nodded her head controlling her sniffles. The place was pitch black but the light illuminated parts. It flashed over the chest table, the pool, and than the machine we were at. We held in our breath and cornered ourself more squeezing each other. Than the clacking of shoes fainted. We got out and they looked at me waiting for my response from earlier.
