*le gasp* 2 POVs in one chapter?! 😱
Okay, maybe I just had some writer's block with Nya. 😅Nya's POV
"Yeah, yeah, Sky. We'll meet in 15 minutes, okay? Just be patient for a bit." I chuckled. "Girl, I know you want to spend time with your mystery boyfriend and all, but don't you dare ditch me. You know how important this is to me." I could feel her glare through the phone. "Okay, at first. Just a friend. And secondly, I'll come. Promise. Okay?" I informed her. We both said our goodbyes and closed the phone.
I was now outside of that class -again- which wasn't the best thing, considering I had to wake up at 6AM, especially after a long night of writing and studying. And all of that because I forgot my jacket at Jay's. Just great. The good news is, I don't have to work today. I went in, since he had told me that the kids were on a lunch break. We greeted each other as I took a seat in one of the front desks.
"Man, I'm tired.." I groaned, taking a sip from my coffee. "Every day is tiring nowadays, what do you mean?" He slightly chuckled. I finally took a closer look at him to notice he was really pale. "Still sick, huh? Well, if you have a frownie, eat a brownie!" I exclaimed giving him a bag with a small cake. "It's my first time baking so, don't blame me if it's bad." I chuckled. "Thanks.. You know, for someone who is a night owl, I'm surprised to see you so.. energetic." He smiled as I gave him the 'well, that's ironic Mr. I won't stop talking' look. I saw him glare at someone towards the door, but saw nothing. I then remembered about my jacket and quickly got it from the desk. "Sorry that this meeting has to be so short, but I really have to go. See you later, I guess?" I smiled. "Uh, yeah. Sure. And don't worry. I'm fine." He playfully winked to which we giggled. Well, nice to see that the sickness hasn't taken over his personality yet. I exited the classroom, though I think that I heard footsteps on the way out. Oh well.. I'm coming Sky..
Jay's POV
As soon as she left I went outside and lead the 'suspects' to the classroom. They sat on the desks and still giggled.
"Could you guys stop doing that? And why are you even here?" I asked, my eyes widening a bit. One of the students then spoke up: "Doing what? Shipping you and Mrs. Nya?" Lloyd chuckled, making blush creep up my cheeks. I'm not surprised to see him here, actually. Casual troublemaker."Tell me the whole story. Now." I raised my eyebrows giving them the 'you better speak up' look. "Well, Mr. Garmadon told us to tell you about your friends." Sam started as Alex continued. "They called your phone, but you left it in the faculty room. They are waiting for you at the office. When we arrived, we saw you and Mrs. Nya hanging out and laughing. You seemed so happy together. You are a perfect couple, you know. It was all going fine but someone" They both glared at Lloyd. "couldn't resist eating sugar. And so, we made a run for it before you spot us.." They all lowered their heads. I have to say that I really do feel sorry for them. I mean, I can't control my shipping senses either! And they are technically not false but..
"It's okay. I'm not mad.. Now go to your parents. They should be here by now. You don't want to get this baaad disease!" I playfully exclaimed. They all laughed and went towards the school exit, where the parents would pick them up. I organized my stuff as well and went back to the faculty to grab my phone. Apparently, Zane had also texted me and Cole to go to his office, since he had a lot of work to do.
I was already late, so I headed there as fast as possible. I arrived at the building grabbing my small backpack out of the car and headed inside. Cole and Zane were already there. As soon as they saw me, they walked up towards me.
