Chapter 11- Fate

Nya's POV

"I suggest you get up before I throw water in your face." I heard a voice call out to me. What is it now? I slowly opened my eyes to see Skylor looking at me, holding a piece of paper close to my face. "Okay, who told you to come in?! That's not why I gave you keys to my house, you know." I got up and went towards the kitchen.

"Well, you didn't leave me a choice. And the way I found where you were makes me more mad." She started. "Apparently, I wasn't the only advisor. Lover boy also had some, but I assume you already know that. After that, I got a message from your phone, saying to come to your house. When I came in, I found you sleeping on the sofa with a note on the coffee table." She crossed her arms as she gave me the note. It read:

Hey, Skylor, was it?

Or, perhaps Nya, if you're reading this. Anyways, I texted you to come and watch over her, as I did not want to sleep in her house without permission.Uh, I hope you're not mad at me..
I made pancakes though, if that makes you happy.. :)

I slightly chuckled as I read this, remembering how awkward we both were last night. I mean, Sky seemed a bit relieved that we didn't do anything, but she was still pissed off.
"And why are you mad, exactly? Because I found a person with proper manners? Or because the pancakes weren't good?" I smirked. She sat down and grabbed my wrist, a serious look on her face. And yeah, I looked at the table. She ate the pancakes..

"I am mad because you didn't tell me anything! AND you missed today's lecture. I'm not going to cover you next time." She glared at me, making me slightly gasp. "Wait, we had class today?!" She nodded as I looked at the clock. It's already noon. How long have I been sleeping for? I sighed and told her pretty much everything yesterday, as well as giving her an apology for missing today's lecture. She was squealing a bit, even though I missed out most of the stuff we actually did.

"So.. Are you two dating now?" She asked me. "I-I don't know! Too soon! Maybe?" I defended myself.
"Well, you're gonna have to see each other at Sel's party tommorow, so you better be prepared for that question. Have you at least brought it up to your parents?" I shrugged in responce, as she facepalmed.

"Well, I spoke with Kai this morning and he kinda has a surprise for you." She went to cut me off, until I continued. "But, no. Maybe it's because I couldn't do it in my sleep while I didn't know if it was official!" I sarcasrically snapped.
We kept talking until she finally left to study. The rest of the day went pretty smoothly and I even got to talk with Jay, whose students aparentally already learned about last night. I'm starting to think that he's the one telling them..
