(A/N: this was requested by @Sl33py_br0ken-rec0r4 and @yourlonelytrashcan !!! hope you like it!! This takes place back when Addison was 23)

I walked through the park, breathing in the cold, fresh air. I noticed a young man around my age sitting at the bank of the duck pond. I approached him, maybe I could make a new friend? I sat down next to him, and introduced myself. "Hello, my name is (Y/N). What's yours?" I smiled at him. "Wow, you're outgoing." He noted timidly. "I'm Terrance." We shook hands, and then sat together watching the ducks for a while. I noted immediately that he was really shy, pretty much the opposite of me. Well, you know what they say about that. "So, Terrance, What do you like to do for fun?" I asked. He thought for a moment before speaking. "I like to plan buildings with my father. Also, I love to grow and make my own tea. One day I hope to open my own tea shop" I nodded. "Personally I like coffee better but, to each their own." He gasped in mock-horror. "That bitter bean water? How dare you!" He exclaimed. I laughed, this guy was funny once he got comfortable around you. "You're the one drinking leaf juice!" I poked his arm. He stood up, putting out his hand for me to take. I grabbed it, and he helped me to my feet. "I think I can change your opinion on that. I'll show you my favorite tea place." He offered. I didn't  really have anywhere to be, so I accepted.
We walked down a scenic road, and he bought me flowers from a quaint little street florist along the way. "Matches your eyes." Was all he said. I blushed and giggled at that. As we walked, he pointed out small things happening around us. A squirrel running along the telephone line, a family laughing together, or a businessman trying to eat a hot dog and open a door at the same time when his hands were full. I found myself completely enamored with this strange, observant man. This was odd to me, considering I had just met him. My thoughts were interrupted by his simple statement: "We're here." Before me was the cutest cafe I had ever seen. A hand painted sign hung above the doorway that read "Southdown Café". He opened the door for me, and we walked in. Somehow, it was even cuter inside then outside. Plants lined the windowsill and all the shelves, and local art hung on the walls. Terrance watched me as I took in the place. "Holy crap, this is amazing! You might actually change my mind on the whole coffee/tea debate." I exclaimed, amazed. He looked down and smiled, hiding a bright pink blush. We ordered, me a camomile tea with honey, and him a black tea with 2 sugars. As we waited, I noticed he kept staring at me, and then looking away. "See something you like, T?" I winked and posed dramatically. Once again, he blushed and smiled. "Oh yes, you are quite the specimen." He laughed.
Camomile tea is fucking amazing, might I add. It is so good. Especially with honey. I made sure to note this to Terrance, specifically exclaiming "Wow, Terrance, you really did it! I don't think I can ever drink coffee again after that." He offered to walk me home, and I accepted, because honestly I didn't want our little date to end so soon. We held hands and laughed together the whole way, and I felt like I had found my soulmate. When we finally got to my door, we said our goodbyes, and he leaned in and gave me a sweet and gentle kiss. I gasped and kissed back, and fireworks exploded in my head. All too soon, he pulled away for air. "When will I see you again?" I asked, out of breath. "In your dreams, baby. But also next weekend, if you would like?" He smiled sheepishly and scratched the back of his neck. "I would love to! See you soon, Terrance."  I gave him a peck on the lips and closed the apartment door. I couldn't stop smiling, replaying the days events in my mind. I couldn't wait until next weekend.
