It was almost time.

Graduation was right around the corner, and I was panicked to say the least. I transferred to this school with low expectations; I never thought I would leave with the best group of friends and a boy I love more than myself. I helped change Jungkook for the better and it made me so happy to see him happy. But the thing is, he changed me too. He helped me to be confident and to love myself...
by loving me more than I thought anyone ever could.

I was in chemistry class, minding my own business, when a crumpled piece of paper landed in front of me. I furrowed my eyebrows and then the realization hit me.

I turned around and saw Jungkook smiling his precious bunny smile at me. I shook my head, smiling like crazy. Nothing ever changed in our relationship; it was always like the first week of dating. I opened the note and felt a sense of nostalgia thinking back to the first day of knowing him.

I rolled my eyes and looked back down at my book. Suddenly, my attention focused on a crumpled up piece of paper landing in front of me. I hesitantly opened it.

I giggled to myself thinking of the memory. What a douchebag. Thank god he has me to straighten him out...

I opened the note hesitantly as I heard him giggle behind me.

I rolled my eyes and laughed to myself. I looked back at him and he pouted, crossing his arms. "I am literally sitting right in front of you Jungkook" I whispered behind me. "I know but I still miss you" he whined. "Y/N! Jungkook! Enough talking!" my mother scolded from the front of the classroom. I turned around quickly, "sorry.." I muttered. When my mom turned her back I whipped around and flicked off Jungkook. He blew me a kiss and I turned around.

After the school day ended I began walking out to my car. Suddenly, I felt a hand intertwine with mine and I looked up to see Jungkook. "Hey babe" he said smiling. "Hey what's up?" I replied. "Okay so I wanna take you somewhere. Now" he said. Before I could respond he put me on his back and started walking.

After eating dinner at a nice restaurant, I kissed Jungkook and thanked him for the amazing night. He stared at me blankly.
"Who said it was over?" I stared back. "It's a school night I need to study" I whined. "Nope I still have one more place to take you. I've been waiting for the perfect moment and I want to take you now."
I complied and let him take me to this "mystery place."

"You know you never really apologized for hitting me in the face with the door on the first day of school."

"I don't know what you're talking about." He stared straight ahead while driving.
"Yes you do!!" I said as I hit his arm repeatedly.

"OK OK IM SORRY!!! I'm a simple guy.. I see a pretty girl and I have to get her attention somehow.."

"By giving her a bloody nose?" I scoffed.

"Whatever works. And think about it. If I never hit you with that door we probably wouldn't be sitting in this car right now. You probably would never have given me a second look."

"Maybe you're right. Instead of asking for an apology I should be THANKING you for making the first month or so at my new school hell" I said rolling my eyes.

"You're welcome."

Jungkook had me blindfolded as he guided me up a steep hill. "Where are you taking me?" "Don't worry about it just trust me." He continue to guide me by holding my hand. We had finally reach the destination, "give me one second." He took the blindfold off and my jaw dropped. We were atop a tall hill, overlooking the city. He had laid a picnic blanket on the ground for us to lay on. "It's so beautiful up here Jungkook" I said as my eyes took in everything around me.
The hill was illuminated by the lights of the city and the light of the moon. I sat down with him and he pulled me into his arms. We both laid down and stared up at the vast sky, cuddled up together.

"You're the first person I've brought up here" he whispered as he played with my hair. "I love it... what makes it so special to you?" I asked. His face fell. "When my dad would — lay hands on me or yell at me this was my escape. I would drive up here and just lay on the grass, staring at the sky for hours" he said breathlessly. I looked at his face sadly. It broke my heart that such a beautiful person could have suffered so much at the hands of someone so close to him. He looked at me and smiled. "But now this place will have new meaning. From now on it won't remind me of my father or my past, it'll remind me of you, the one person who has never left my side, the one person who gave meaning to my life" he said as tears filled his eyes. I cupped his face in my hands and smiled at him. "I love you more than you know Kookie. I can't imagine life without you" I said wiping a tear that fell down his face. He pressed his lips against mine and I returned the kiss, his hands combing through my hair. I released myself and looked up at the sky. I felt his warm presence against my body and knew this was right. This is what I was missing.

"No matter where life takes us in the future, I promise I will be here" I said.

"Me too. I want to grow old with you, I want this crazy adventure we call love to never end" he smiled at me.

"I love you Jungkook."

"I love you more."
