My name is Logan Myers. I'm 18, I was born in Riverdale, a town seemingly average, full of white picket fence families and a maple farm. But there's a lot more to that town then meets the eye. I fled to Beacon Hills a couple of years ago after my 'incident.' Incident being the time I'd left my (now ex) boyfriend Jughead's house, where I'd been staying, to go for a short walk in the woods near his house to get some fresh air, when something came at me and bit me. I thought it was a wolf, and I thought I was going to die, but next thing I knew I was back at Jugheads. It turns out it was so much more than a wolf, and I was going to be more than okay because it was a werewolf.
Obviously, it didn't take long for Jug and me to realise something was different about me, my hearing was too good and I went from being average strength to accidently ripping a door handle from the socket, my senses and speed were suddenly enhanced and then when the first full moon since my bite hit I couldn't control my eyes changing from my normal grey eyes to a glowing yellow.
I almost hurt Jughead, if I had it would've killed him, obviously I'd never want to hurt him, it was due to a lack of control. It took him frantically screaming my name and bringing me back to my human nature to realise what I was doing, I had been moments away from slashing his throat, I'd destroyed the cellar of The White Wyrm, a bar where the serpents, a gang both of our parents were in, hung out. We started doing research on werewolves, trying to figure it out, or at least figure out how to fix it or teach me control before I hurt anyone.
That's when the Alpha that bit me, Jarred, found me. He told me if I didn't follow him, listen to him, let him lead me, he'd kill my family, and Jug, or worse, wait until the next full moon and make me do it. The serpents and Jughead were all the family I had. My parents died in a motorcycle accident only 6 months before. I was terrified Jarred would hurt Jughead, so I explained to Jug that I wouldn't risk his life, and broke up with him and made plans to run away from Riverdale, I didn't tell him that part. It broke my heart, his too.
I avoided him like the plague, I couldn't stay with Archie without telling him everything, so I stayed in the old drive in, or more so hid there. Less than a week later I went to tell Jarred that I'd broken up with Jughead so he had nothing left to take from me except my life, but I found him impaled on a pipe in his own basement.
God knows who did it, or how they did it to an alpha werewolf, or even why they did it, but I wasn't going to stick around to find out. I went to Jug's trailer and told him I was leaving Riverdale and to not count on me coming back, that if I couldn't control it I wasn't going to stay where I could hurt my loved ones. And I ran.At 16 I ran away from my whole life, with the serpents and with Jughead to find out how to control this... This thing that had happened to me. I overheard from someone in my travels there was a true alpha in beacon hills, so that's where I went.
I met Scott McCall, Beacon Hill's true alpha, and his untraditional pack, Stiles, Malia, Lydia and Liam, closely aided by Hayden, Mason and Corey. There was an instant click between him and I, along with his pack and I and I quickly became a part of it. They taught me about how they do things, they don't ever end a life, even if it's deserved and how to control being a wolf, Scott explained to me about how they'd come a long way, and not everyone that has stood with them is alive or with them and that was that.
Now, 2 years later I live relatively peacefully in a 1 bedroom flat 3 flats down from Stiles and Scott's place in Beacon Hills and for once, nothing's going wrong in our lives. But knowing my life, I'm probably speaking too soon.
