We arrive at Pops and stand outside looking at the booths through the windows, giving me a sudden rush of anxiety.

"Nope, Stiles I can't do this! We're going back to the motel." I say, attempting to walk away.

"We're doing it." He says.

"You didn't even want to come!" I tell him.

"But if they trust us even slightly, it'll help when we save them from dying." Stiles says.

"They're not serpents." I say.

"But they're close to one majority of the time." Stiles says.

"Fine let's get this over with." I say.

We walk in and the 4 of them sit at a booth, waiting for us, Stiles and I join them.

"So! Stiles, how do you like Riverdale so far?" Veronica asks.

"It's pretty. We're thinking we might even stay longer! I invited our friends back in Beacon hills to come and check out Logan's old stomping ground." Stiles says, making a semi believable reason for our friends to be coming.

"Oh, how lovely. More... New friends." Veronica says through gritted teeth.

"You said Beacon Hills, right? Isn't that that place where all the murders and animal attacks had been happening?" Betty ask, collective uncomfortable shifts break loose from myself and Stiles, as well as surprisingly Jughead.

"I guess. I didn't get out much." I lie.

"My dad's the sheriff and trust me, there's a lot more to it." Stiles sighs.

"Really? Like wha-"

"Anyway... Who's hungry! I think we should order." Jughead says, cutting Betty off.

"So, you're telling me, Jughead Jones is finally a Writer, and Archie Andrews is a musician AND a football player?! Wow! You know, I always thought you two would do cool stuff!" I say after a lot of eating, talking and a lot less interrogation than I thought.

"Impressive. All I do is barely play lacrosse." Stiles laughs.

"Lacrosse is a pretty hardcore sport, right?" Archie asks.

"Yeah but somehow I still haven't broken anything!" Stiles says.

"Impressive!" Archie says.

"Impressive? Stiles you're on the bench more than Jughead has food in his mouth." I say, there's a collective laugh and an offended look from Stiles.

"Hey! I was first line!" Stiles defends himself.

"Logan? What about you?" Betty asks.

"I don't really do much, honestly. I run a lot, but annoy my friends mostly." I laugh.

"So, nothing's changed?" Jug teases.

"Fuck off Jug." I laugh, Betty shifts a little at me calling Jughead 'Jug'.

"So, Archie you seemed pretty excited to see Logan! What's the deal?" Veronica asks.

"Oh, well Jug, Logan and I have been friends forever! She didn't even say goodbye when she left, and no one ever told me WHY she left, so I was pretty happy to see her alive and well." Archie says.

"You guys were all close? Jug how come you never told me?" Betty asks, my eyes flash to Jug.

"It's not exactly an easy thing when your best friend and girlfriend breaks up with you and then suddenly leaves the country." Jug says, I dig my nails into my thigh, also trying to stop my nails from becoming claws.
