When Stiles and I land in Riverdale it doesn't take me long to realise it looks exactly as I left it, cold for the most part, but everything looks the same, except there's an eerie feeling in the air, one that has always been there, but now stood out.

"So, where to first, snake girl?" Stiles asks, I sigh.

"Fuck off, its serpent first of all. We're going to the one place I might find someone I know. Pops diner." I say.

"You don't want to go to that Southside place?" Stiles asks.

"The Wyrm? Nah, it can wait." I say.

"You just don't want to run into Jughead." Stiles says.

"Actually, I do! Plus I'm fully aware its unavoidable, but also seeing my ex-boyfriend that I tried to murder in a psychotic werewolf rage doesn't exactly sounds appealing." I tell Stiles.

"Okay, fair point." Stiles admits, as we walk into Pops and Pop Tate immediately recognizes me.

"Logan Myers! You are a sight for sore eyes! Look at you, looking all grown up!" Pop says, coming over and giving me a hug.

"Hi Pop, long time no see." I say with a smile.

"What can I get you, sweetheart?!" Pop says.

"Actually, I'm good Pop. I was actually wondering if you knew anything about the animal attacks?" I ask.

"It was horrific, one of those serpent men, mauled to death..." Pop says.

"And the couple?" I ask.

"They luckily came out without a scratch! It was the nice pink haired serpent girl... Toni? And the blossom girl." Pop tells me.

"And they weren't hurt at all?" I ask, Pop shakes his head.

"Luckily! I don't know how they did it, the car they were in was in shambles by the time they got to safety." Pop tells me.

"Geez... Uh... Thank you Pop." I say.

"Are you sure you don't want anything?" Pop asks.

"We might come back in a bit. Thank you." I say.

"Anytime!" Pop says. I smile, I missed his happy nature.

Just as I go to turn to Stiles to tell him what's next I hear the jingle of the door of the diner behind me signalling someone's walked in, and I know exactly who's just walked in, based on the scent, and my luck...

"He saw you, he's looking at you, he knows it's you, you have to turn around." Stiles whispers, obviously realizing who it is based on my reaction.

"Logan?" The all too familiar voice says, I turn around.

"Hi, Jug." I say. Jughead stands his wearing his signature beanie, but now wears a serpent jacket too. And damn, Jug got hot. He's always been attractive, but this is definitely an upgrade.

"L-Logan?" Jughead asks, he looks surprised, confused and happy to see me. "It's really you?"

"In the flesh." I joke.

"What are you doing here?" He asks almost excitedly, giving me a hug.

"Let's just say we have our reasons, sadly this isn't completely a social visit and I bet you can guess why..." I sigh as he releases me from the hug.

"We?" He asks, glancing at Stiles.

"Jug, this is my friend Stiles. Stiles, this is Jughead." I introduce them.
