"Freedom in the oxygen of the soul" Moshe Dayan
The two stayed in the park until twilight began to fall, and the thousands of sparkling lights for the festival finally rivaled the dying evening sun. The two boys were curled up together in the grass, bodies close and intimate. Taehyung knew he should have been cold from the October evening, but the only thing he could focus on was the warmth radiating from Jungkook's body. The hum of his heartbeat steady and strong under his hand.
He knew that they had to get up and leave at some point, but the thought was distant. Besides, he couldn't bring himself to break the calm that had surrounded them for the better part of the day. As he focused on the sounds around them, he thought back on his life, trying to think of a time at which he felt this content and happy, but nothing came to mind. He simply hummed laughing to himself, of course, nothing came to mind.
Jungkook had crashed violently into his world, wrecking all of his defenses, making them crumble with his kind words and soft touches. He had believed for so long that having an alpha with him would restrain him and make him weak, little did he know that Jungkook had given him something he had always wanted. Freedom. Freedom to be himself, to accept himself, to feel safe to be free.
"Penny for your thoughts?" He heard the alpha ask him. Whispering into the shell of his ear.
He giggled at the tickling sensation, scrunching his head to his shoulder to avoid the warm breath that blew over his cool skin.
"wouldn't you like to know big bad alpha" He smirked, teasing Jungkook with the rank call, looking up at the Jungkook coyly. He watched as Jungkook's beautiful features morphed from playful and light to suddenly dark and lustful. Even if the rank call was playful it still got to him.
Taehyung was still having trouble with the enigma that was Jungkook. How could one individual go from looking like a bunny one second to looking like he was about to eat you alive the next? Tae glanced at the youngster again and decided his thinking would have to wait. With Jungkook's eyes lighting a fire within his body, the whole world could fucking wait for all he cared. He wanted Jungkook. Now.
Leaning in, he let his lips meet the alphas for what could have been the hundredth time that day, his body curling up to him on the grass. The good thing, and bad Tae thought, about being outside, was that while the two could still smell each other, due to their proximity, their scents were not overwhelming for the other, dampened slightly by the fresh air.
Jungkook was just about to lean in to deepen the kiss when he heard the rumble of thunder in the distance. Then, as if it would in a movie, water started to patter around them, before tumbling in heavy streams on the pair. The alpha thought; fuck it, as he attempted to continue kissing the boy before him. However, the omega shirked before he could do so, pulling away and jumping up quickly, making the youngster groan as he followed Tae onto his feet.
He looked at Tae with a wounded expression. His body was so deliciously warm, having it stripped so suddenly made it feel like he was missing a limb.
"These are Gucci Jungkook," He said gesturing to his shoes with a dramatic eye roll. The alpha couldn't help the laugh that escaped his lips. He had been hanging out with Jin too much lately.
He took an assessment of Taehyung then. His shirt sticking to his body, highlighting the hard curve of his body that was layered in a thin beautiful sheet of muscle. His dripping hair that fell into his eyes. His flushed cheeks from the cold. Kim Taehyung, he decided, was a wonder.
"Jungkook, focus" Taehyung's voice brought him out of the stupor, his words were teasing but his cheeks flushed as he considered Jungkook's lustful gaze.
