I see you there
You cry when you saw me
I took you in my arms
But you pushed me away
I got to my feet and pulled you up
You struggled and strained me
It was like carrying
A lion
You clawed and you bit
You shook and you screamed
You took and I take
You left but I follow
I tried to carry you my lion
But you keep pushing me away
I know I made mistakes
My lion
I love you
The three words sting
My pride was to great to repeat
I give you my promise to never leave again
But you said all my promises get broken
I tried to speak, to defend myself
But you are right, I was wrong
Thy lion
You throw away love
Like a penny
You think it will come back
And give you luck
But it will only leave a scar
On your heart
And give you another sack
Why lion
I wish I could change the past
But it is the present and future that we have
So hold my hand
I will carry your struggles
I will fix your wounds
I will transfer your scars
I give my all
To you lion
