I pulled out of his grip easily and was out of my seat immediately. My nails dug into my palms sharply.

"What are you doing here Johnson?"

He scowled at me his lip curling in distaste.

"I already told you. We need to talk. Now let's go."

He reached for me and I was pulled out of the way. Edmund had me flush to his side, a firm grip on my waist, his free hand had an iron clad hold on Johnson's wrist.

"I would appreciate it if you didn't touch my employee. He is a valuable asset to the company and I don't need him getting harmed."

"Fuck off. This is between me and him."

Johnson winced as the grip on his wrist tightened. I glanced up at Edmund. His face was passive but his body said otherwise. He was wound up and I could feel practically every tensed muscle pressing into my body. I glanced back at Johnson and watched his gaze flicker to me.

"You won't even allow me to properly speak with you." His eyes flashed and he looked defeated. "Get your fucking chihuahua off me."

I reached out brushing over Edmunds hand.

"I-it's fine...let him go."

He released him easily and let his hand slip into his pocket. I slipped out of his hold and massaged my temples.

"Just...just give me five minutes." I looked over at Johnson. "Just get this over with."

We walked out of the coffee shop and went over to a slightly secluded area just across the street.

"Just hurry up with what you have to-"

I was cut off my thick material and a crushing grip on my torso. My eyes widened. Johnson held me shakily. I stood unsure of what to do. He just held onto me desperately, his body shaking.

"I need you to come back."

I pulled half way from him.

"I-I don't have time for this. I told you I'm not return-"

Hot lips pressed against mine. He pushed me against the wall, he only pulled away just to adjust his hold before I was breathlessly kissed.

I crossed my arms my eyes fixated on the scene across the street. Joseph and Johnson were kissing across the street. Joseph made no sign of pushing him away nor participating in the kiss. Just how in love with him is this boss of his and does Joseph feel the same? A sharp pain went throughout my cheek, blood filling my mouth. I spit to the side and leant back against the wall. Irritation and the sharp teeth of jealously searing through me.

I inhaled and exhaled slowly willing my body to relax.

"Jealousy is a bad look Edmund."

I glanced over to the side meeting amused grey orbs.

"What do you want Belinda?"

She shifted slightly her eyes filling with delight as she took in the scene I was desperately trying to avoid.

"I'm almost surprised that you would feel anything for something alive." She giggled. "He'd be impressed."

My hand was around her throat before she could react. She winced slightly her eyes flashing yellow.

"Fury looks much better." She patted my cheek, her nails digging into the skin. "Don't forget your circumstance child."

I released her and looked across the street. Joseph was yelling something at his former boss, who pathetically was on his knees, anger lining his eyes. I mentally sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. Looking up I watched as an emotionless Joseph strode across the street. He walked past me and back into the coffee shop. I turned my brow arching. He carefully collected his things and walked over to me calmly.
