(Joseph's P.O.V)

"Belinda I need you to run this over to Mr. Antin's office. Don't let him keep the file but he needs to review the contact."

I resisted the urge to jump. He came out of nowhere.

"Joseph you're with me today."

I looked up at the sound of my name and all but gaped. He cut off his hair. He looked...completely different yet the same. He looked like a businessman. Not that businessmen can't have long hair but wow. I shrugged my coat on and hurried to catch up to him. He hasn't had me do much since our last meeting and now he is. Strange.

I glanced at my phone and felt an involuntary groan slip out. We had been working non stop since 7:30 am. My stomach grumbled.

"Joseph come to the conference room."

I forced myself up and followed Edmund into the room. He set his things down and produced a brown bag practically bursting at the sides. He set out a few white cartons and then handed me a fork. I blinked pausing a moment before taking the fork.

"I didn't have a chance to pick up plates so we'll just have to eat from the containers."

Edmund sat down and began digging in. I watched him in disbelief for a few minutes before grey eyes met my gaze.

"Eat."

It wasn't a request. I inwardly huffed and began eating. We ate in silence and time was slugging along.

"Mr. Fig."

We both looked over at the door and were greeted with a nervous looking woman. Her hair was wound into a severe looking bun, a pencil haphazardly sticking out of it, a thin silk dress draped over her thin frame, and chunky clog like heels covering her feet. She smile awkwardly and held up her tablet.

"Alexander just had a few more things he would like to discuss with you before you left."

Edmund stood and wiped his mouth before following the woman out. I sighed and began gathering the food and tossing it into the bin. I slipped my coat on and walked over draping Edmund's coat over my arm as well as his scarf. I set his tablet into his briefcase and snapped it shut. Heading back out into the hallway I took the elevator down to the lobby and sat down patiently waiting for this meeting to end. After an hour or so Edmund emerged from the elevator looking slightly confused. He spotted me and headed over, his features righting themselves.

"I'll need you to establish an account for Company C and direct them through to my portal once we get back to the office."

I nodded and handed Edmund his coat and scarf. We walked outside and the car pulled up.

"Efficient as ever." Edmund murmured and slipped into the car.

I followed behind him and leant against the door. It would be so easy to fall asleep on the spot. I mentally shook my head and straightened up. We still have a long day ahead of us. I pulled out my phone and frowned. I had two missed call and a message from Johnson.

Sorry to bother you Joseph.

Angie damn near ruined our

system and I can't remember

what we used to as the back up

file and her useless ass deleted

all of my "oh shit" files. Do you

remember them by chance?
