This Is Nearly Goodbye

Joe's Pov
Dianne leaves in late August. I'm spending every day I can with her. I don't want her to go now but it's better if she goes. Then I can move on from her. I can tell her about my feelings because if I do She might stay. I'd love that but then she wouldn't get a fresh start with her brother and she wouldn't fufill her dreams. I will miss her the most I think. I hope she misses me to. There's a couple days left of school. My uncle's given me a thatching Job. I start next Spring. When Dianne's gone. I start sixth form in September without Dianne. Without Dianne. The boys have realised I'm sad about Dianne's  departure. The Thing is I'm currently helping Dianne pack. I want to tell her everything . How I felt,why I want her to stay but I want her leave, I want tl tell herhow proud of her I am and how I want her next to me forever. But I can't.
Me and Dianne were packing things that she didn't need. Coats and winter stuff that she was donating. She wouldn't need then since she was moving to Australia.
"Joe what's going on with you." Dianne said. She never called me Joe . She always called me Suggy.
"I'm fine don't worry." I say.
"Well I don't believe you. And you can stay here in you tell me." Dianne said.
"Just going to be weird without you." I said.
"It's going to weird without you to Suggy"Dianne said.
"Why don't we go to sleep." Dianne suggested.
"Yeah sure." I said
I stand up and Hug Dianne. I walk to the door. Dianne smiles
"See you later Miss Buswell." I say
"Bye Suggy" Dianne said.
Friday.
Me and Dianne walk in the last day. We sit in tutor. Emotions are running high.
"So lads what we doing this summer." Dianne asks with a smile.
"Anything and everything we can." Josh says.
"Guys don't be sad about me leaving. I want you all to be proud." Dianne says. The boys all look at me.
"I smiled  think Joe's smiled once this week."Caspar said.
"Sorry guys I'm still a bit shocked. I mean you guys are all leaving. Dianne's going back to Australia, Byron,Josh and Caspar are going back to South Africa and I'm staying here." I say
"We stick together no matter how far apart alright." Dianne says.
"Okay we are all making a promise that no matter what distance, not matter who we become, What are paths and life choices we always love and support each other and take care of each no matter what." Dianne says.
"I promise." I said.
"So do I" all the boys said.
"Good now Suggy smile your making me sad." Dianne said. I couldn't help it but smile. Dianne made me happy.
"There we go. Dont worry about me Joe we are all going to be fine" Dianne said.
"I know we are ." I said.
Dianne took hold of my hand.
I smiled
