I stand outside on the porch.
"Is she asleep " Andrew says
"Yeah I made sure she was " I say
"Joe the only reason we need to talk to you is because we need to ask you something "Rina says
"You love my daughter don't you" Mark says
"Of course . " I say
"Joe I'm sorry but after Anthony we can't trust you right now . If we pay you 1 million could you disappear forever out of her life " Mark says
"Wait are you serious " I say getting irritated
"Joe I'm sorry but it's for the best of our daughter
"Are you fucking serious . I love Dianne . She's all I have left . No matter how much you pay me I will never leave that girl . She's been through enough and she doesn't need anymore heart break. Dianne's other boyfriends may have left because you paid them but I'm not like her other boyfriends . I love her with all my heart and I could never do that " I say
I turn around and open the door
"Joe Wait " Rina says
I ignore them and walk up the stairs quietly
I slowly go into Dianne's room and I close the door
I see Dianne life her head from her pillow
"Where did you go " Dianne whispered
"I just went to get a drink " I say walking over to her bed
"Okay then " Dianne says putting her head back down on her pillow
I get under the covers and hold her tightly

The Next Day
Dianne's pov
11am
I wake up and sit up . Joe is beside me on his phone
"Hey " I say rubbing my eyes
"Dianne can I tell you something " Joe says putting down his phone
"Yeah of course " I say
"Your mum and dad tried to pay me . To break up with you " Joe says
"Wait what " I say
"I'm sorry Dianne " Joe says looking down
"Joe please says your joking " I say as shock hit me
"Dianne I wish I was joking. I really wish but last night after you fell asleep your parents asked me to meet them in the porch and I did and they said they'd pay me . I told them I would never even think of doing that and I just walked away . You mean way more to me than any amount of money " Joe says
"I love you Joe . I'm sorry my parents asked you that . They should be ashamed . I'm ashamed of my own family and I'm sorry they treated you like that . I'm going to talk to them. Even if we have to fly back to England because they kick us out . I will never forgive them for this " Dianne says
"I don't wanna come between you and your parents . And I'm sorry Dianne " Joe says holding me close
"Joe I'm really glad you told me and thank you for not taking the money " I say hugging him
"I would never " Joe says
I smile and kiss him
