Angeline's POV

"Angeline," Timothy whispered. The sun peeked through the window, directly into my eyes. I've been up for a few minutes, I just didn't feel like getting up.

"Yes?" I yawned.

"Shadow is gone." He whispered. I shot up and immediately regretted my decision.

"Son of a BITCH!" I yelled. The door flew open and Shadow ran through, along with Jake.

"What the hell are you doing?" Shadow grabbed a bunch of pillows and put them behind me. I leaned back and groaned.

"Timothy said you were missing. I thought the worst." My breathing was heavy, and I broke out in a sweat. Getting shot in the movies looks a hell of a lot easier than it really is. I hated pain. Unlike Shadow, I was a wuss when it came to pain.

"I c-couldn't f-find you." Timothy stuttered.

"I was in the kitchen!" Shadow said, clearly annoyed.

"I'm sorry." He blushed.

"Just go downstairs, it's time to eat." Shadow barked, heading to the bathroom. Timothy scrambled out of bed and headed downstairs.

"That was a tad harsh," Jake mumbled. I sighed and stared up at the ceiling. The tension was running high. Tempers running rapidly. I know that all my boys needed was some playtime. Take their minds off the present issues. The need to let go of control and just focusing on pleasing your dominant. No worries, no anger or anxiety. Just you and your dominant with never-ending pleasure. I missed it so much. At this point, we sound like sex addicts. Here it's only been a week or so and we're cranky and needy.

"I'm sorry," Shadow mumbled as he unwrapped my bandage. He cleaned it and reapplied the antibiotic ointment. After I was all wrapped up he sat back on his heels. He looked exhausted.

"Baby are you okay?" I asked.

"Y-yes. I'm fine." He mumbled.

"I'm keeping score ya know. And the end result will be hell." I warned.

"I'm just stressed. Ruvik has a lead so they're already gone, looking at that. Jethro was missing this morning but he just came back. Said he needed to blow off steam after he fought with Jake." He sighed. I patted my lap and he crawled over. He rested his head on my lap and I sat there playing with his hair.

"Can I admit something to you?" I asked.

"Of course." He replied.

"I'm not at all comfortable staying with Jethro. I actually want to make him suffer. Like he made Timothy suffer." I bit my lip, waiting for his response. I know it was awful for me to think like that. Timothy forgave him, he moved on. But I didn't.

"I understand. Timothy really wants to just move on and forget about everything. I tried to sit down and talk to him about it yesterday but he shut down. He just wanted to have sex and forget about everything." Shadow sat up and looked me in the eyes.

"We all cope in different ways." He said. There was a small knock at the door. I looked up to find a crying Timothy.

"Oh, baby. I'm so sorry I snapped at you." Shadow quickly stood and rushed over to Timothy.

"I-I.." Timothy tried. Shadow shushed him and held him in his arms.

"Hey come here," I said, patting the spot next to me. Shadow and Timothy crawled into bed, Shadow was cradling Timothy.

"I know this has all been stressful. Frankly, being under the same roof as your tormentor has everyone on edge as well. Ruvik is close to solving this. I'm going to talk to him tonight to see when we can leave. I'd like for us to get away. Just us four. No distractions, no one trying to kill us. Just us." I smiled. Timothy was still sniffling. I saw his brow furrowed in confusion. Shadow looked up at me confused as well.

"I'm pregnant." I blurted out. They both shot up, eyeing my stomach then me.

"I've taken like four pregnancy tests. Unless they're all negative again, I'm for sure pregnant this time."
