Timothy's POV

*bang*

A loud shot rang through the room. My heart stopped. Shadow. I didn't want to open my eyes. Sorrow and grief flooded through my body. I screamed as loud as I could. I gripped my hair really hard. I yelled in agony. I felt my entire world shift. Like it no longer had meaning. I pulled my hair roughly. Needing to feel the pain.

"Quit pulling your hair!!" Shadow shouted. I froze. My eyes shot open to see Shadow kneeled in front of me. The relief was evident in both of our eyes. I let out a sob and wrapped my arms around him. He held me tightly. I felt Angeline's arms around us. We were all crying, holding on to each other for dear life. Shadow's alive. He's fucking alive. Then what was the shot? I looked up to see blood all over Shadow, now on me. Confused, I looked to see who shot the gun. The door burst open and a bunch of men wearing all black ran inside. Shadow stood and moved out of the way. That's when I saw him. Jethro laid on the floor, with a gunshot directly in the middle of his forehead. His mouth was open, along with his eyes. The dead look in his eyes was no different from when he was alive. Jethro was such a sick man. His gun rests in his hand. A man in black took the gun, speaking into his shirt that the gun was secure.

I couldn't stop staring. None of us could. There's a fucking dead body in front of me. The man that ruined my life, is laying on the floor dead. Despite seeing his corpse lying in front of me, I couldn't shake the uneasy feeling I had. Now I know it was all a lie, he wasn't sorry. Yet, I still forgave him. Someone who does all of those horrible things just for fun must be sick.

"Ruvik. Thank fucking YOU." Shadow cried. He quickly stood and ran over to Ruvik, who just walked in the room. Ruvik wrapped his arms around him and held him close.

"You were so brave. And SO STUPID WHAT THE HELL." Ruvik's mood changed from heartwarming to blinding rage in one flat second.

"I h-had to s-stall!! Anything to save them." Shadow whispered the last part.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU? You fucking idiot. Why would you do that?!" Angeline shot up angrily, her body visibly shaking from the tears the wreaked havoc on her body. Shadow ran to her quickly and hugged her hard.

"I know that. But Angeline you're my entire world. If giving up my life meant you, Timothy, and the baby was okay, I would do it again." He grabbed her face and stared directly into her eyes as he spoke.

"You would die for me?" I spoke softly, my voice breaking from the tears.

"You're worth dying for," Shadow whispered as he looked at me. I stood up when he opened his arm. We all stood in our perfect love triangle, enjoying the comfort of just being together. We all knew that just a few seconds ago, we feared the worst. We feared the life we would have without Shadow in it. We feared death, knowing full well we weren't ready to die yet.

"So are you guys ready to get out of here?" Ruvik said. We looked up to see him standing next to a freed Jake. Jake was rubbing his wrists and watching the men in black zipping up the body bag.

"Yes. You both have a lot of explaining to do." Angeline scowled.

*A few hours later*

We sat in the guest house, near the fireplace. All of us were freshly showered. Angeline got a personal visit from the doctor. She's going to be on strict bed rest for a few weeks once we get back to America. She's technically not supposed to fly. But neither of us want to stay here. Italy was no longer our happy place.
