CH.1 Barry

       Barry's POV

My alarm clock woke me up with its annoying "Beep Beep Beep" Noise.

I hit the rectangular button on top of it to silence it. The clock said 7:49.

"Oh no The CCPD opens at 8:15, better hurry" I told myself and got dressed in a red and black striped flannel, Black jeans, along with my White tennis shoes. I found my Forensics Brief case in my Closet and ran down to the kitchen where I found Iris West (My Sister) getting ready for her day at The Central City Bugle and Detective Joe West (My second Dad) putting his gun in his holster and grabbing a plate of food before his day at the CCPD.

"Hey Joe, Iris" I said as I sat down and started to eat.

"Hey Son" he addressed me.

"Hey Barry how was you're morning" Iris asked me with her mouth full.

"Crazy and Hectic, I couldn't find my Forensics Brief case" I said finishing my food. "What I'm really excited for is Harrison Wells' Particle Accelerator that he's announcing to the public" I said going through my messages but who knew that tonight my life would change forever.

"Yeah he's the Founder of that lab up town right he dedicated his life to science or something right" He asked.

"The Labs are Called S.T.A.R Labs" I said jittering my hands so much I dropped my phone under the table, I quickly grabbed it and looked at my watch it said 8:00.

"Hey Joe we've got 15 minutes until CCPD opens we better get going" I told my Father Figure.

He looks at his watch as well that was around his African American Wrist. "You're right Son, bye sweetheart" he told Iris before we headed out.

 12 Minutes Later At CCPD

"And we still got 3 minutes before we are supposed to be here I've worked here for 1 1/2 years and this is the first time I've actually been on time" I told Joe.

"You better be on time or Captain Singh will most likely fire you alright now get up to the Forensics lab and figure out who the murder victim from Yesterday is"  Joe told me.

"You got it detective" I said and rushed up to my lab. After a minute or two of working Captain Singh came into my lab.

"Hey Captain Singh" I said to the white male who entered my lab.

"Who are you and where did you take my Forensics Examiner because he's never on time, nor doing his work at 8:17" he chuckled.

"Very funny Singh but anyways The victim from Yesterday is Robert Yak" I told him.

"Wait really?" He asked surprised.

"Yup lives at 12 oak Lane in Starling city" I said putting my tools in my case.

"Why was he in Central City?" Singh asked.

"I already know he was going to S.T.A.R labs and I'm going to talk to Harrison Wells he works there and Detective Joe's coming along" I said finally breathing after I finished talking.

"Ok after that you can have The day off. At noon I set up a visit with you're dad at Iron Heights" he said.

I walked out jittering. "Hey Allen we gonna go to S.T.A.R Labs or you gonna finish you're date with the Captain" Joe asked sarcastically.

"I heard that west" Captain Singh yelled from his office which was located next to the Forensics Lab on the Second floor.

"Oops Sorry Singh" He said me into the elevator it was obvious he did not want to confront his boss Captain Staggs.
