Ch.3 Jade

Previously...

"Here" I said handing her my hoodie.

She blushed a bit, but gratefully took it she started asking me questions about working at S.T.A.R Labs when lightning struck us, the Particle Accelerator Exploded and all I thought of was Jade.

18 Months Later....

Jade's POV

"Is she stable Snow?" A male voice asked.

"Yes like the past 18 months she's stable." A female voice answered.

"Barry" I thought. "Was Barry okay??" I thought.

Suddenly I gained consciousness and tears fell down my face. My eyesight was blurry. "Barry?" I asked.

"Uh no I'm Cisco Ramon, this is Dr. Caitlin Snow and this is my boss who was put in a wheelchair for life because the malfunction of the Particle Accelerator and the Explosion put you in a com-" he said but was cut off.

"Jade" he said which made me blush.

"What's up with you guys saying each other's names.

"I-im o-o-over h-here b-b-barry" I said smiling when I saw his his abs?!

"Are y-y-you okay last thing I remember was you being Struck by lightning" he said with a tone worry in his voice.

"Here Barry" Cisco said throwing him a S.T.A.R Labs covering his abs and all I thought was 'fuck he's hot' and I bit my lower lip to contain myself.

"What happened to S.T.A.R Labs after the Particle Accelerator Exploded and wheres Ronnie" he asked with the same worry in his voice.

"Everyone takes us for fools, because I was over my head Mr.Allen Cisco told me to turn it off but I didn't listen and Now.... Now Ronald's d-dead" Dr. Wells Explained.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry but can I come into work a bit later I just wanna see a few people" he asked and everyone except Dr. Caitlin Snow.

"I need to go too I need to check in with my boss at Central City Picture News" I lied she really wanted to hang with Barry for some reason I feel like I've known him for years.

I finally caught up to him and smiled. "Hey Barry..... Uh here" I said awkwardly beginning to unzip his red hoodie, but he stopped me.

"Keep it" he said bluntly. "Cmon let's go have coffee and maybe I can help you with anything Central City Picture News that you have even though you and I both just woke up from an 1 1/2 year Coma." He said smiling as we exited S.T.A.R Labs.

"Sounds great Mr.Allen" I said smiling with a big stupid grin on my face when his phone rang.

"Hey" he answered.

"Yeah I'm awake Joe" he chuckled nervously.

"Meet you at CCPD, but I'm hanging with a colleague you could say" he said smiling.

"Bring her to CCPD, it'll only take a few minutes.... Wait a sec." He told the person on the other end.

"Wanna come to my Foster-dads work for a quick second while i explain to him what happened to us then I'll take you and you're pretty blushed face out for coffee deal?" He asked.

"Su-su-sure" I stuttered like a idiot.

"We're close we you soon" he said and ended the call.

10 Minutes later At CCPD

Barry and I go into CCPD to see detectives struggling with cases, arguments flinging left and right and Desks full of paperwork.

"B-Barry you're actually awake and whose you're lady friend" 'Joe' asked.

"Meet Jade Green a science section writer for The Central City Picture News" Jessie introducing me like I was important like Dr.Wells.

"Well you're quite pretty miss, I hear that you were Stoke my Lightning along with my boy here, how are you feeling after being in a coma for 1 1/2 years." Joe asked me.

"Im fine really just hoping there are no side affects of being Struck by lightning." I answered truthfully since he was a detective and it was his job to tell if people were lying.

He looked at me Puzzled. "That's great well go get coffee Barry and then drag yourself up to you're lab" he told Barry and they both chuckled.

"I quit 2 hours before I was stroke by lightning, I work at S.T.A.R Labs the Particle Accelerator might have Exploded but there still geniuses, I'll stick by my boss until the day I die." He said smiling as our fingers brushed against eachother which made me flush a deep red.

"You're just like you're father Barry sticking by people for the greater good... See you at home then Barry" he responded.

"Now how about that coffee I promised you,?" He asked jokingly.

"That sounds great Mr. Allen" I said and he spread a goofy grin along his face which made me laugh as we stepped into the Elevator.

Later At C.C. Jitters

It was now now 5:41 P.M. when Barry and I entered C.C. Jitters.

"What do you want" Barry asked me and smirked and I could tell where this was going.

"Three shot Espresso" I answered and he smiled at me, then turning to The cashier and A dark skinned girl, she appeared to be in her mid 20s and she wore a green apron over her clothes.

"Um two 3 Shot Espresso's please" he asked the cashier.

"Sure that'll be $39.8- Barry?" The cashier asked Barry who stood shocked.

"Hey Iris" he said blushing and hugged her and I thought "goodbye chances with Barry.... out the fucking window, he has a fucking girlfriend".

"How have you been for the past 18 months Iris?" He asked as he swiped his credit card.

"Well you remember Detective Pretty boy right?" She asked.

"Yeah?"he asked questionly.

"I'm kinda engaged to him" she giggled nervously.

"That's awesome Iris so he'll be my brother-in-law" he asked.

"Brother-in-law, they're siblings. I'm a huge idiot" I thought
