Nicole's POV
Ever since I was a little girl I've played soccer. I've grown up on the smell of sweaty socks, cut grass and stinky jerseys. And I couldn't be happier.
My name is Nicole Lewis and I am 17 years old. I am in grade 12 at Westside Highschool. I am a straight a (plus) student. I have two siblings a (younger) twin brother and little sister who just turned six. I live with my parents and both grandmothers. I have a very close family (and extended family) and we stick together through thick and thin.
I've never really been 'liked' by boys... As anything more than friends that is. Never really had a crush either. Having a twin brother lets me have
a lot of guy friends since we share our friends.
Two years ago I took a referee course. I figured it'd be easy money. I reffed recreational games for the little kids for a year and this year I have started to do more high level games. The best part is I am actually not even doing it for the money anymore, I really enjoy reffing!
In a few days I will be reffing as a lines men for my first Ontario Provincial Youth Soccer League game. I'm actually super excited. I know nothing about the teams I'm reffing just that they are boys my age. It should be a good quality game I think.

So? I think it's a boring chapter but ah well :) hopefully it'll get more exciting. (It'll be a really good quality game ;) )
Btw this is my first story ever so let me know if I'm any good at this writing thing. I was just a little sick of the soccer stories that were so unrealistic that I decided to write my own :)
