Chapter 12- Soaked

LEO P.O.V

She closes her eyes, her lashes brushing softly against her cheek, but she is eager to open them.

I look at Jason for help and he nods.

'Ok princess, open your eyes now.' I say hesitantly

She opens her eyes to reveal her large multicolored eyes. At the same time, I ignite little balls of flames and shape them. Fireflies.

She gasps and attempts to catch one with her frail hands.

I pull her hand back and shake my head disapprovingly.

'It'll burn you.'

She blushes at her mistake and continues to marvel at my fireflies.

'It beautiful.' She says at last 

'Do you like it?' I ask, tilting my head to look at her.

'Are you kidding?' She smiles. 'I love it!' 

She flings her arms around my shoulders and pulls me into an embrace.

'Thank you Leo.' She whispers into my neck.

'Anything for you Princess.' 

Piper coughs.

She releases me blushing like a strawberry.

She tucks a loose strand of hair behind her hair nervously.

'Sorry about that.' She mumbles.

I laugh.

Jason suddenly gets up and drags Piper into the sea. She screams and kicks water onto him, but she eventually smiles.

I look over to Acacia and grin.

She recognizes that cheeky smile on my face, because she backs away mumbling,

'Don't even think about it.'

I ignore her comment and carry her bridal style up to the waters edge. She screams and attempts to kick my face.

'LET ME DOWN LEO!' She giggles

'Have it your way Princess.' I shrug as I dump her into the water.

A moment later she emerges with a murderous look on her face. For a second there, I thought she was going to kill me, literally. But she grabs my hand and pulls me into the water. Laughing as she chokes on the salty sea.

We muck around in the water. Just the four of us, having fun and being idiots.

'I want to get out now.' Acacia complains after a while.

I pinch her nose gently and lead her out of the water.

'We are going to be in so much trouble.' Piper murmured, looking down at her wet clothes.

'Hey,' Jason says reassuringly 'I bet Percy could help.'

I run my hand across Acacia's long flowing hair. Her decorative flower had been completely drenched, and the rest of her was no different.

She turns around and looks at me smiling.

'I hate you Leo.' She says slyly, while pointing a finger at my chest. 

I grasp her hand and grip it firmly.

'Ditto.' I say. 'Now, let's go eat dinner. I'm starving.'

Jason looks at me thoughtfully.

'Ever tried dipping your pizza in coke?' He asks 'It's great.'

'No. But that sounds AWESOME.' I grin, setting myself on fire.

Acacia makes a discusted face and Piper rolls her eyes and nods at Acacia, as if saying. Boys

'Doesn't that taste weird?' Piper asks

'Nah!' Jason says proudly. 'Not if your a guy!' 

We fist bump as the girls pretend to throw up.

'Race you guys!' Acacia laughs running towards the smell of drifting foods.

'Your on!' Piper grins, chasing after her.

Jason and I hang back with the gentle breeze.

'Do you think everything will work out?' I ask.

He thinks for a bit and shakes his head.

'I seriously don't know. I guess it's up to the fates hey?'

'Yeah.' I say uncertainly. 

'You coming for some food?' Jason asks.

'No... I think I'll hit the deck early.'

'Didn't you say you were starving?'

'No, you just imagined it.' I grin as I rush off to my own little private work shop, Bunker 9. After all, I had something very important to work on.
