what you didn't know is that he brought that one for himself so he could give you the one he was wearing because itd be warmer and itd smell like him more

it doesn't get super cold in southern california (take it from someone who's lived there) so during christmas you two went swimming. he threw you in the pool and you grabbed onto him pulling him in then he lost his santa hat at the bottom.
he dived down to get it but then he got a bunch of water in his ears. to cheer him up you made him cookies and had him lay down to get the water out
