i woke up the next morning to sadie working on her science project. i saw millie sitting on her bed looking exhausted. i yawned and got up, got some clothes and hit the showers.
i made sure to wear my PCA hoodie
after making a pit stop back to my room, millie and i decided to go get some coffee at the coffee cart.
"so has anything happened between you and fuzzy head?" she nudged me
i shook my head no "maybe he just wants to be friends."
"y/n, finn seems to have liked you for like forever." millie said
we were in line for our coffee when someone bumped into me
"i'm sorry!"
i looked over to see aidan, he was a fairly nice guy who i had classes with
"oh it's okay it's no biggie." i smiled. he smiled back
"hey are you doing anything later?"
"no why?" i said and looked at millie.
"would you wanna catch a flick on campus with me tonight?"
i looked at millie again. she nodded slightly and shrugged
"alright.."
"cool! 7?"
i nodded.
we parted ways and millie and i walked back to the door. we saw sadie pacing and there was a green smoke where her science project is, well was
"IS IT DANGEROUS?!" millie screamed at her. this hasn't been the first time a science project has gone wrong in our dorms
"I DONT KNOW!" sadie yelled back.
"what happened?!"
"i was working on my stupid science project and-"
sadie walked out of the room after checking her phone.
"what is she...?" my voice trailed off when she pulled the fire alarm.
sadie came back and shut the door "the bio team will be here to check to see if we're infected."
"infected?!"
"hello girls!"
all of us turned around to see finn, caleb and jack
"sadie released her freaky science project in the air!" i said
"alrighty then act like we were just never here..." finn said the boys nodded and they went to head out. but they got pushed back in by the bio hazard unit. which was some guys in weird yellow suits
they went over tests we would have to take and all of us ended up glaring at sadie.
after the somewhat painful tests we all sat down. finn on the millie's bunk. caleb on the bean bag. jack on the couch on his phone posting random shit to his story and making a horrible racket. i, on my bed. sadie at the computer. and millie on sadie's bed.
"can't we watch something or play a game?" i asked, now laying upside down
"or how about some food cause i'm starving!" caleb butted in
millie groaned "the unit said no food can enter this room." she jumped down and went to the fridge. "we only have water."
"better than nothing. pass it." millie nodded and threw it at caleb. he barely caught it.
finn let out a chuckle.
jack let out a loud laugh and it scared us
"whAts sO fUnNy!?!" finn said and rubbed his head, he hit his head on the metal rod of the bunk
"i was practicing on my script. he has to laugh obnoxiously on his date."
"DATE!" millie and i said in unison
"oh my god i need to tell aidan!" i sat up and started pacing
"you're dating aidan?" finn asked.
i went over to my phone, i didn't even have his number... finn hopped off the second bunk "you're dating aidan?"
i looked up at him "well i mean he asked me out... i wouldn't say we're together." the more i looked at him the more i wanted to scream
'I LIKE YOU STUPID'
i sat down on my bed and groaned "he's gonna think i'm a jerk." i didn't care about the date i just didn't want people to think i was undateable... especially yaknow...
caleb laughed "that's what you're worried about?"
i sat up and nodded
"y/n doesn't like lizard man." sadie laughed. millie giggled
"then who do you li-"
finn was cut off by jack groaning
"IM SO HUNGRY!"
i put a pillow over my face. i felt the bed weigh down "i don't want to seem like a jerk..."
"if he thinks that then he's not worth it. this is a complete misunderstanding..."
"what if no one else will wanna date me because i stood him up."
the pillow was taken off my face, i looked at fuzzy head. i wouldn't lie when i said we've had chemistry ever since the girls joined pca...
as we were talking the background noise got louder
sadie was playing with her punching balloon, jack was still groaning, millie and jack were working on the lines, and caleb kept drinking more water, everything was just A LOT
"Y/N I JUST-" finn had to practically yell
"SHUT UP!"
everyone went quite and we looked at sadie
"IF WERE GONNA BE STUCK IN HERE AT LEAST BE QUIET YOU ARE ALL ACTING LIKE FREAKS YEAH THATS RIGHT FREAKS!"
everyone stayed quiet for about 5 minutes when i started conversation again.
"do you guys wanna play a game? or we could watch a movie...?"
"all your movies are from finn or high school musical." jack said "i don't wanna watch another indie movie or musical."
finn rolled his eyes
jack went to laugh again for his script but caleb covered his mouth
"should we watch tv then?"
"the pca news is boring." caleb said and drank more water
finn grabbed a beanbag chair "the pca news isn't boring... like 5% of the time..." he sat down and turned the tv on
i walked over to the bean bag "scoot over."
he nodded and did so. i flopped down next to him
god help us it was a thing about us.
"the biohazard unit hasn't decided if sadie's germ is dangerous, so for now y/n brooks, sadie pensky, finn matthews, caleb barret, jack reese, and millie martinez are stuck in the girls dorms for days, weeks, and maybe months.."
finn quickly turned it off
"wow that really helped us get our mind off things." jack said sarcastically
"at least i'm not a debby downer."
i closed my eyes and started to drift off... it was a long day...
when i woke up i saw the bio hazard unit and that i slept a whole night on the beanbag
"good news kids you're germ free! you can leave just check in with our nurse in the lobby."
"alright cool..." sadie said and rubbed her eyes. i went to get up but i noticed an arm around my waist. finn was still asleep.
"do you guys wanna freak him out?" millie asked.
"yes!" caleb whisper yelled. millie grinned and acted dead.
we all caught on. i acted dead and then smacked his head.
"huh?!"
i heard him shuffle around a bit
"sadie?! millie?!? cALEB?!"
more shuffling
"Y/N?! OH GOD SADIE HAVENT YOU SEEN WHAT YOUR MUTANT GERM HAS DONE?! Y/N OH MY GOD I NEVER GOT TO TELL YOU THAT I LO-"
we all jumped up and screamed. he fell over the bean back and onto the floor. we all laughed
"you guys are siCk!" his voice cracked. i got up and put my arms out to help him up. still laughing
"cmon fuzzy head."
