Johns P.O.V

It's been two years since the death of my mate Lyric and her best friend Lilly,her brother has been crying non stop and sleeps in her room.

Me and my pack warriors have been searching for the rouges that did this non stop but came up with nothing.

After awhile we gave up and then my pack has been attacked by rouges so I have to step up game.

"Hello is this Alpha Leo?" I say,"yes who am I speaking to?" He says.

"This is Alpha John from the silver dawn pack(I can't remember the name I gave them so this is there name)

"Ohh how may I help you?" He says his voice laced with venom,wow what's his problem.

"Yes I been having trouble with rouges lately and I was wondering if you can help me?" I ask.

The line goes silent as I hear voices in the background,"sure we will be over tomorrow bye" he says as he hangs up quickly.

Wow he was rude, I hang up the phone and look at a picture of me and Lyric when we were both 12 she was my girlfriend back then.

I was holding her waist as she was resting her head on my shoulder smiling, a tear slips down my cheek as I put my head on my desk....my Little mate is still dead

Lyrics P.O.V

I wake up without Jackson next to me, he probably had to do beta stuff so I do the normal routine.

I brush my hair into waves and change into short nike shorts,a work out crop top and running shoes.

I grab my beats and samsung and head downstairs,I see Lilly sitting on her mates lap talking about something.

"Hey Lyric" she says as she smiles at me,I wave at her and grab a Gatorade from the fridge.

I write Jackson a note telling him I'll be back soon and leave the pack house and start my jog.

I end up at a park and sharing a bench with a really cute guy kinda cuter than Jackson.

"Lyric is that you?" I turn to see the boy is actually Quincy my old childhood friend.

"OMG Quincy is that you I haven't seen you in so long!" I say as I hug him really tight.

I end up staying out longer than I told Jackson,"I'll call you later on tonight I'll see you later" I yell as I wave at him.

When I enter me and Jackson's room I see him sitting on the bed with nothing but jeans on showing me his perfect six pack.

"Where were you you took longer" he says,"it's cool I'm here now" I say as I hug him.

"Why do you smell like another man!?" He says growling,dang it I forgot to wash off Quincy's scent.
