"Ey! There he is!" hiyaw ng founder's bloodline nang dumating si Paris sa kanilang hideout. Pagkatapos ng kanilang klase ay dumiretso agad sila sa lugar ng pagtitipon. Pasimple namang tiningnan ni Calvin ang leeg ni Paris, only to see nothing. He disregarded it and just focused on their gathering.
"How are you feeling dude?" tanong ni Rey. Inabutan nito si Paris ng kinaugalian na inumin.
"Feeling better." Tumango si Paris at isa-isang tiningnan ang mga kaibigan. "I never got to thank you all for saving me last time. I owe you all my life." Napangiti silang lahat.
"Yosh! Cheers to that!" masayang wika ni Rey at sabay silang uminom.
"Oh right, by the way, narinig niyo ba 'yung nangyari kanina?" wika ni Gen.
"What about it?" tanong ni Mond. "I never knew you indulge into gossips since now."
Madaling umiling si Gen saka isa-isang tumingin sa mga kaibigan. "No, no, no...I was just curious since it's about Loren." Nagtaas ang kilay ni Paris sa narinig.
"I heard she was called to the headmistress' office after some...I'm not sure I think some misunderstanding with Nerissa."
"Wait, what?" Rey sat straight and draw nearer to Gen.
"Ikaw, isa ka pa, napaka tsismoso mo." Turo ni Mond kay Rey.
"Shhh bro." natawa nalang si Mond sa inakto ng kaibigan.
"Ah, Calvin was there too." Gen snapped her fingers. "Hey Calvs, care to enlighten us a bit? What happened?"
"What? Calvin was there too, okay whaaat?" Dilat na matang sabi ni Rey
Nagkibit balikat si Calvin. "Hindi ko alam. When I arrive Nerissa was already on the floor. Bleeding." Nagkatinginan si Calvin at Paris. "What really happened, I don't have any idea at all. All I know is that Nerissa needs help as fast as possible and that it was Loren's doing about the whole table scene."
Nagulat silang lahat sa nalaman. Bumagsak ang panga nila.
"Oh my." Pabalik-balik ang tingin ni Gen kay Calvin at Paris.
"That was some information. Paris I..."
"I'm sorry." Naunang wika ni Calvin. Nagsitanguan naman ang natitirang founder's bloodline. "I'm sorry I blamed you for something you didn't do."
"Yeah, me too I'm sorry Paris." Gen whispered.
Napangiti sila nang tumango si Paris. "It's alright. Don't make it a big deal."
"And because of that, cheers ulit!" hiyaw ni Rey na ikinatawa ng lahat.
Sa gitna ng pag-uusap nilang magkaka-ibigan ay nakatanggap si Paris ng isang mensahe. Fishing out his phone from his coat pocket, kumunot ang noo niya nang makita ang pangalan ni Loren.
I know you must have known what happened. I'm sorry Paris. Can we meet right now?
Hindi niya ito sinagot at binalik lang ang phone sa bulsa niya. With one last sip, tumayo siya at nagpaalam na maauna na sa mga kaibigan. They all agreed and bid their good byes.
After a long day, sumalampak ako sa aking higaan. This is one of the best feeling in life, climbing unto the bed after a long day. Forget about your problem. Set down whatever causes you stress and just lay in your bed. Niluwagan ko ang suot kong uniporme habang humihikab. Manang said I need to change clothes first before eating dinner pero hindi ko mapigilan ang antukin.
