The next morning I woke up alone in Jimmy's bed. I stretched, sitting up before I climbed out of bed. I padded down the hallway, smelling something wonderful in the air coming from the kitchen.

I walked in to see Jimmy cooking waffles and bacon. "Mmmm smells good!"

He turned, startled to see me behind him, then smiled. He poured me a cup of coffee, adding creamer before he handed it to me. I took a sip, savoring my morning fix.

"How did you sleep?"

"Awesome! I feel so much better today!"

He grinned as he pulled a waffle out of the machine. "Good, because I called a friend to take you out today."

I gave him a look as he fixed me a plate and set it down at the table. "Excuse me?"

"It's not what you think," he laughed. "I called Tina Fey and asked her to take you shopping for a dress for when you come on the show and to do other girly things today. If you don't mind. I have to go into work for a little while."

I took a bite before answering, "No, I don't mind! I'd love to go shopping."

He turned back to the machine, pouring in more batter. "Great! She'll be here about 11 to pick you up."

I looked up at the clock I the stove, seeing that it was already 8:30. Jimmy sat down next to me, devouring his plate of waffles in no time. I laughed at how hungry he obviously had been.

I finished eating and out my plate in the sink, starting to wash it awkwardly with one hand. "I'll do the dishes." He said, coming up behind me. I opened the dishwasher, putting my plate in. "I can do it! You made breakfast, so I'll do the dishes."

"Okay, but I'll take care of the waffle iron because it's too hard to do two handed, let alone just one."

I finished with the light dishes, then turned to leave the kitchen. Before I left, I glanced over to Jimmy. "Could you help me get my shirt off?" Jimmy's face got a wicked look on it, and he growled.

"Down boy! Help me out of my shirt so I can go take a shower." Jimmy started pulling my shirt off, his fingertips lightly touching my skin. He knew exactly what he was doing; so I got him back, As soon as the shirt came off I kissed him on his neck then ran off. "Ha ha!! Payback's a bitch!"

"Oh I'm so going to get you back!" He yelled, laughing. I shut the door, threw my dirty clothes into the basket and grabbed my clean clothes. I turned Pandora on and put my phone on the sink.

I got in the shower, turning it as hot as I could stand. I always loved taking showers, the clean felling you get was priceless to me. I sang along with my music as I washed my hair, then rinsed off.

I dried off, toweling my hair as good as I could. I then clipped my hair back, letting it air dry while I put my makeup on. Once I was finished I blow dried my hair and clipped it back again until I got dressed.

I got my skirt on and almost called Jimmy in to help me put my shirt on. But I got the bright idea I could do it myself; only, I forgot to put my bad arm in first. My arm bent the wrong way and the pain hit me like a shot, causing me to cry out in pain. I slid down the wall until I was sitting on the floor, cradling my arm. The pain was pretty intense.

I could hear Jimmy running down the hallway and into my room. "Karen! What happened?" He asked, opening the bathroom door. He took one look at me on the floor and kneeled in front of me.

"I tried to put my shirt on myself. Not a good idea," I hissed, the pain still running high.

He helped me stand up, then carefully maneuvered the shirt so that it slid over my bad arm more easily. Once it was on, he helped me put my sling on. "Do you need pain meds? Are you okay now?"
