"Jimmy?"
I walked into the room to find a note on the bed. I sat down, opening the folded piece of paper and began reading.
My dearest Karen,
I hope you don't mind playing this game with me. I know you love the book The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks. I kinda tore a page from his book, so to speak. I've already laid out your clothes in the bathroom and filled the tub. I figured you needed time to soak. Anyway, take your time and enjoy the time to yourself. When your done, get dressed (if you need help, please call me this time) and come out into the room.
I love you so much, my Karen from Michigan. I hope you enjoy what I have planned.
Love,
Your James
I was moved by the letter. I knew Jimmy was a romantic turned person, but this blew me away. I laid the letter down, walking into the bathroom. There were candles all around, lit. The air smelled so sweet. I saw he had hung a dress behind the door, one that I had never seen before.
I took off my clothes and carefully got into the tub. I relaxed in the warm water, enjoying the feeling of just soaking. I stayed in for almost a half an hour, getting out when the water started getting cold.
I dried off, noticing my things were on the counter. I smiled as I reapplied my makeup and fixed my hair. Once I was finished, I carefully slid the dress on. I was surprised; it was a perfect fit. It was turquoise blue, v-neck and sleeveless. It stopped at my knees and looked so pretty. There was also a pair of heels, deep red in color. It was that moment that I knew Tina had helped him, not that I minded.
I took one last look in the mirror, making sure everything was in place. I opened the door and there stood Jimmy, in a tux and looking so dashing. He held his hand out to me and I took it.
"Wow," he said, leading me to the living room.
"I can say the same for you James," I replied, hugging his arm. He grabbed his keys and led me out of the apartment. "Where are we going?"
He smiled as we got on the elevator. "That's a surprise."
"I do like surprises. And I really loved your letter. Thank you for making me so happy, Jimmy Fallon."
We got off in the parking garage, Jimmy leading me to his truck, or so I thought. We exited the back of the garage and outside by the curb was a white stretch limo. "I love you too, Karen," he said as the driver opened the door for us.
We got in and the door shut behind Jimmy. He opened a bottle of wine, pouring a glass for each of us as the limo pulled away and into the night traffic of New York City.
Jimmy raised his glass. "To us. May our love continue to grow everyday," he said as I clinked my glass with his.
We sat in companionable silence, sipping our wine and watching the passing scenery. A few minutes later, the limo stopped.
We got out and I was amazed. Jimmy had brought me to Club Cache, a place I had wanted to go to for a while. "You're taking me dancing," I said, holding Jimmy's arm.
He kissed me on my temple before saying, "Yes I am."
We entered, me completely overwhelmed. We were seated at a table near the floor. "Thank you Jimmy," I said after we ordered dinner.
"Anything for you. You're my girl," he said, kissing my hand.
We ate dinner then he led me to the floor, smiling the whole time. I put my hand into his, Jimmy careful to not move my broken arm around. We slow danced, my head resting on his chest. I loved listening to his heart beat in rhythm with our dance.
We danced for a while, the other couples on the floor also keeping up with us. At one in the morning, Jimmy looked at me. "I hate to say this, but we have to go."
"I understand. Let's finish this at home," I said coyly.
"Hmmm, I'll take you up on that," Jimmy replied, grinning. He led me out of the restaurant and into the limo. We didn't talk the whole ride home; I was starting to get tired.
The limo stopped in front of the building this time and Jimmy and I went up to the apartment. As soon as he locked the door and I put my purse on the table and kicked my heels off, Jimmy went over and turned the stereo on.
"Will you dance with me, my love?"
I nodded, walking over to him and letting him wrap his arm around me. We danced in the living room for over an hour, just me and him swaying to the music. It was something I had always wanted, to just dance, me and my love, by ourselves.
I leaned up for a kiss, Jimmy leaning down to meet me. I wanted this man so much, really more than he knew. I ran a hand through his hair, bringing him closer to me.
"Jimmy?" I asked, pulling away for a moment.
"Yeah babe?" He breathed.
"Now. I want you now."
Jimmy didn't say a word. Instead he lead me to the bedroom. I undid his tie, dropping it to the dresser. He was pulling my dress up, careful to not to bend my broken arm the wrong way. Once he had done that, I unbuttoned his shirt slowly, trying to torture him. He shimmied out of the shirt once I had gotten to the last button.
His pants came off next, falling haphazardly to the floor. He reached around and in clasped my bra, tossing it into the growing pile of clothes on the floor. I slid his boxers off, revealing his pure, unadulterated body to me. I couldn't help but look at him. He reached over and slid my panties off, depositing them into the pile.
Jimmy picked me up carefully and laid me on the bed. I was already aroused and wanted him so much. I knew the last two times he had tried had ended in me panicking, but I wasn't going to let that happen again. I knew in my heart Jimmy loved me and would never hurt me. So I was going to show him how much I trusted him.
He straddled himself on top of me before he leaned down, kissing his way from my stomach up to my breasts. He trailed up to my neck and behind my ear. "I love you so much," Jimmy whispered, nibbling my ear.
"I love you too," I replied, a little breathless. He was setting me on fire with every kiss. I leaned up a little, kissing his bare chest. He smelled so good, like how a man should smell. His lips started back down to my breasts, increasing the fire between my legs. I knew I needed him so much.
"Please Jimmy. I need you," I breathed, knowing I was close. That man knew how to treat a woman, that's for sure.
"I need you too Karen," he replied. He entered me, slowly, but I was ready. He felt so good! I moaned loudly as we consummated our love for each other.
We were panting, Jimmy laying beside me. He wrapped an arm around my shoulders, pulling me closer. I laid my head on his chest, listening to him breathe. He began running his hand through my hair, me rubbing circles on his arm that was over my chest.
"I love you Jimmy Fallon," I whispered, kissing his arm. He leaned down and kissed the top of my head. "I love you too, Karen from Michigan."
We fell asleep, in each other's arms and stronger in our love.
