Maya's POV:
I pull into my kingdom, well high school. I'm greeted by my two best friends! Karman and Emit. Emit as always has a new girl clinging to him.
"Well don't you look great!" Karman exclaims
"Ah, thanks Karm." As soon as walk away from my car, a red camero pulls in next to me. Rose...
She is greeted by her entourage. We look each other up and down. She's pretty, you could say. I roll my eyes and walk into school with confidence.
A crowd comes our way and gets louder. That's when I know the football team is coming. Vance is in the front with Phillip and Braxton. I hate that Vance is friends with Phillip, but we can't bring our boyfriends into our own conflicts.
I walk up to Vance. "Hey babe." He says smiling. I grab his shirt collar, and pull him up against a locker.
"You look hot!" He says looking me up and down. I smile
"You don't look to bad yourself." I state he grabs my lower back and pulls me close. His soft lips attack mine, he is a great kisser but their are no sparks you know, just lips touching lips. I imagine kissing Bryce. There would be sparks!
The announcements come on and we break our kiss.
"Good morning Students! We have decided the middle of the school year prom theme!" Every one falls silent.
"And it is.... Couples from the past!"
I look at Vance. "We are going as Romeo and Juliet!"
"Sounds good to me babe." He says smiling.
"Hey Phillip." I hear Rose say. "We are going as Robin Hood and Maid Marine!" She exclaims "ok" Philip says laughing.
"Figures she would go with something unordinary.
"I'll see ya after class!" I say to Vance. He pecks my lips one last time and leaves.
I make my way to class. Karman catches up to me. "Are you and Vance serious?"
"Not as serious as we could be? Why?" I ask
" Well,Bryce was staring at you guys the whole time." She says
The thought of him being jealous over me, thrills me.
"Let him watch!" I say happily. I look around to find him. My eyes meet his bright blue ones. He smirks slightly. I give the same smirk back.
He is leaned up against the wall, his group of people are around him, he hangs with the bad boys. Yes he is a bad boy surfer. He's perfect.
