Your POV
Saturday December 1, 2018
6 amI woke up with Kehlani in my arms, resting peacefully. Her breathing was quiet and steady in the dark room, leaving only the sound of our heartbeats beating calmly together.
I gently kiss Lani's cheek and quietly get out of the bed without waking her and make my way to the bathroom with my towel in hand. I step into the bathroom, the cold floor chilling my entire body, and gently close the door behind me. I start the shower and peel my clothes off of me one by one, revealing the numerous hickies scattered on my body that Lani made a few nights ago. I step into the shower and let the hot water hit my chest and thighs. I stand there for a few minutes, just allowing my body to soak and rinse in the water. I grab the shampoo and squeeze some out onto my loofah. I srcub my body clean and get out the shower when I'm done. I dry myself and walk out of the bathroom and into the closet. I sit down and lotion mysef. I pull on a black nike sports bra and some matching underwear then decide on some sweats and a black t-shirt. I walk out of the closet after putting my towel and dirty clothes away to find Agapi straddling Kehlani while she groaned and begged for him to go back to sleep. I mentally face palm myself and walk over to Agapi and lift him off of Lani.
"Hey! Who is this?" he asks confusedly. I kiss his forehead then give Lani a quick kiss before carrying him out the room, closing the door behind me.
"Why do you keep waking mommy up?" I ask Agapi as soon as the door is closed. He shrugs his shoulders and scratches the side of his head.
"I wanna see mommy cause I love her."
I can't even be mad at his response. He was too cute. I smile and grab his hand, walking down to the kitchen to make us breakfast.
"Well mommy needs to be able to sleep okay? You can't just wake her up. She'll be grumpy if you do." I tell him.
He responds by scrunching up his face. "But I don't want mommy to be grumpy. Then she can't smile." He whined.
"And she wont be grumpy if you just let her sleep okay. Speaking of sleep, what are you doing awake?"
Agapi scratches his head and then flashes me a beaming smile.
"I wanted to see you before you went to work momma." He responds which makes my heart melt.
"Aww. Baby it's Saturday so I don't have to go to work today." I say as we reach the kitchen. I walk to the sink and wash my hands then turn back to Agapi who sat with his hands in his lap and watched me with a small smile on his face. God he's so cute.
"What do you want for breakfast gop gop?" I ask him as I lean on the sink. It's close to seven now and we have a few things planned today so I wanted everyone to eat so we could get ready and leave.
"Um...waffles." He replied with a goofy grin. I chuckle and pull the eggs and bacon out of the refrigerator.
"How about some some other food to go with it?" I suggest.
"Yes mam!" He responds enthusiastically. I smile as I turn the stove on
"Why don't you go watch some cartoons. Breakfast will be ready soon." I tell Agapi. He nods and salutes before running off in the living room, causing me to just shake my head. I swear that is Lani's child.
I start to crack the eggs. After cracking about 6, I add salt, pepper, and little bit of seasoning salt then I add the milk. I mix everything up and pour it into the skillet. While the eggs start to warm cook, I grab a pan and start to lay the bacon in it. Once I have a decent amount of bacon in the pan, and by decent, I mean like the entire pack cause this is one family of fatasses, I turn on the oven and place them in. By the time I finish that, the eggs are starting to really cook. I flip them and make sure their cooked on both sides before taking them off the stove. I grab the bag of breakfast potatoes from the freezer and pour them out into the pan. I stir them around and add a little seasoning. I let them sit and cook and then focus on the waffles. I decided to make the waffles from scratch instead of putting the frozen ones in the toaster since I was feeling pretty good today.
