Agapi's POV
December 3, 2018
8:30 pm"I'm coming for you big sis."
I pushed open the door and came face to face with two staircases. One led upstairs and the other led downstairs. I know the window I jumped out of was on the first floor and the stairs leading downstairs led to the basement so Imani had to be upstairs.
I crept upstairs, making sure to be aware of my surroundings and that no bad guys were around. Once I was sure the coast was clear, I slowly started walking down the hallway. I checked each door, trying my best not to let the doors make any noise.
If they did my cover would be blown.
"Mani." I said in a low whisper. I know she wouldn't be able to hear me even if she was right next to me but I needed to find her.
I came upon one more room at the very end of the hall.
She has to be in here.
I opened the door and to my relief mani was in there, crying and the top of her head was bleeding.
"Mani? Mani come on we have to get outta here." I whispered as I walked over to her.
"Agapi what are you doing?! You're supposed to be outside why are you back in here?!" She hissed through her tears. I wrapped my arms around her and buried my face in her neck.
"I didn't wanna leave you here with those men by yourself. We have to stick together. Now let's get outta here." I replied as she hugged me back.
Imani wiped away her tears and nodded her head. "Ok let's go out the window again. It's the safest way."
We ran to the window where Imani lifted me up and helped me climb out. I landed on the other side of the window and waited for Imani to climb out behind me.
After a while, she came falling out the window and landed on her back.
"Ow." She groaned lowly.
"We'd better find him before boss chews our asses clean off."
"We gotta hide. Come on!" I whisper shouted as I practically drug Imani to the bushes I hid in."
"Where is momma and mommy?" Imani asked from behind me in the bushes.
"They said they are coming. They should be here soon." I said lowly as one of the men gazed out the window. Suddenly I felt movement behind me.
"Imani what are you doing?"
"There...is..a spider. There is a spider Agapi. There is a freaking spider."
"Ok ok just relax. Calm down it's not gonna hurt you."
"Agapi it's moving closer get it get it get it get it get it!"
"IMANI SHUT UP!"
"AHHHH IT'S ON ME! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!"
"Imani the men are gonna hear you."
"I WOULD RATHER BE STUCK IN THAT HOUSE THAN STUCK WITH THAT SPIDER NOW MOVE!" She yelled as she got up and ran out of the bushes.
"Imani come on!" I hissed after her but she kept running and I had no choice but to follow her.
"HEY I FOUND THE KIDS HELP ME GET EM!" One of the men shouted from the porch.
