Kehlani's POV
December 2, 2018
9am
"So anything major happen back at home?" I asked Hayley while the kids played in the living room with their toys.
Hayley thought about it for a second before shaking her head.

"Nothing too exciting has happened. Oh wait! I lied. Chance is finally getting married." Me and Y/N both gasp.

"For real? When?" Y/N asked her excitedly.

"Uh sometime in January. I gotta check the invite again." We nodded but then Hayley spoke up again.

"Oh yeah. I've ran into that girl that's been giving you problems when you were still living there a couple times."

"Which one?" I quickly interfere.

"Oh I don't know any names. The light skin. Curly hair. Kind of pretty. Tomboyish."

"Shaina.." I sigh out.

"Yeah, her. Anyway she says she misses you and she won't stop trying to get to you. Man y'all need to put her in mental hospital or something. She on a whole new level of crazy." Hayley says. I nod in agreement.

"You're not wrong. Fuck man. I was hoping that by moving here, we'd be away from her and her issues but she's still trying it."

"Desperate bitch." Y/N mutters from beside me causing me and Hayley to giggle a little.

"Well we need to do something. If she's trying to get to me, that means she'll most likely try to use the kids to do it and I promise you if she lays a finger on my children, I'm going to jail no question." I warn.

"Okay momma duke chill out. We're gonna figure out something okay? We just need to be smart about this whole thing."

Ding dong

"I'll get it." I mutter before standing up from my seat and walking to the front door. Through the glass in the door, I can't really see anyone outside. I just see something small on the ground. I open the door and find a little box on the porch. I pick it up and try to look for some sort of label. There is none. I carry it back inside and walk back into the kitchen where Y/N and Hayley wait with concerned looks plastered to their faces.

"What is it Keh?" Y/N asks as I sit the box down on the table.

"I don't know. Hand me a knife." I say to Hayley. She reaches behind her and grabs a sharp little knife. I poke into the tap and cut it before completely opening the box. Inside was a bouquet of flowers with a little note and a letter. I take the letter out while Y/N reads the note.

Kehlani,

I know you tried to get away from me. It hurt my feelings for a while but we'll be together again soon. I miss you so much and I can't wait for you to be in my arms again. I'll do whatever it takes. And I mean whatever. Please, Kehlani don't run from love. Come home where you belong. Or I'll come to you.

-Shaina

I groan as Y/N takes the letter from me.

"Oh my god. This bitch has lost it completely." Hayley says after she reads the letter.

"Yeah she has." Y/N agrees.

"Well we gotta do something. We can't let her come here." I say.

"What if she's already here?" Hayley wonders.

"How the hell did she get our address?!" I question.

"Connections." Y/N answers lowly. I run a hand through my hair and sigh.
