Author POV:

Blossom started to get comfy on her seat as Brick stood in line, waiting for his turn to order for them. "Maybe I should go stand with him." Blossom whispered. "But he told me to sit.." she whispered once again.

Fighting with her own thoughts on what she should do, Brick came back with two hot chocolates in his hand. Putting down the drinks and sitting down on his seat, he spoke up. "Hey you okay?" Brick said, sounding worried as he saw her talking to herself.

Blossom's cheeks turn to a bright pink blush, feeling embarrassed getting caught talking to herself. "Y-Yeah, I was just thinking of something." she replied.

Brick let out a 'ah'. It was silent for a bit until she spoke up. "So how has it been for you?" she asked.

Brick took a sip of his drink before staring at her pink orbs. "Good I guess. My brothers and I are wanted almost everywhere so it's a been hard for us to find a job." he said, Blossom lips turn to a frown, "I'm so sorry." she said.

"Don't say your sorry, you didn't do anything." He gave a smile. 'Did my heart just..'

"My siblings and I are planning on moving, they want to leave Townsville, but I'm not so sure for myself." he told her. "Oh, so... would you stay?" she asked. "Maybe.. If the reason behind it is worth it." he shrugged his shoulders before taking another sip of his drink.

Blossom let's out a hum and was about to say something, but got interrupted with her iPhone blinging with notifications.

She took out her phone to see texts messages from her ex, she rolled her eyes before putting it back in her pocket. "Who was it?" Brick asked, noticing her change of face when she looked at her phone. "my ex boyfriend." she simply said. "Oh," Brick didn't know why but he felt a hint of jealousy inside of him.

"So are you going to answer?" he asked. Blossom scoffed, "Fuck no. Why should I answer some asshole? tsk." Brick's left eyebrow raised up and a smirk appeared on his lips. "Watch it babygirl, you shouldn't be cursing in front of me."

Blossom rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Why? You gonna punish me or something?" she asked, her voice sounding annoyed, but not towards him.

"You guessed it." he said before giving her a wink. "You haven't change a bit." she whispered before letting out a chuckle.

"Is that supposed to be good or bad?" he asked. "Good, I like your old self, makes me remember of my childhood." she said, a soft smile on her face.

"Is there anything you guys would want?" a waitress said, Blossom could tell by the look she was giving Brick the only reason she came over was to flirt with him. "No, we're fine." Blossom answered. The waitress ignored Blossom and kept her eyes on Brick, "Anything you would like to order cutie?" she asked.

Brick felt uncomfortable by the woman's stare and her closeness. "No, thanks. I'm fine." he said. "You got a girlfriend?" she asked. 'Okay what the fuck?' he thought.

"Yes, I have a girlfriend now please leave me alone." he told her. The woman felt embarrassed flirting with a guy who had already a lover in his life.

The woman left and Brick rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Are you dating somebody?" Blossom asked, feeling a needle in her heart by him telling the waitress he was taken. "Pfft, no. I just said that so she would leave." he answered.

"Oh," Blossom said quietly, she looked down at her drink. "I already got my eyes on somebody." he told her. Blossom looked back up at him. 'Who is it?'

"T-That's good. I hope she returns your feelings." she said, a smile on her lips.

Brick's lips turn to a small frown. "Yeah, I hope so too."
