Firstly, thank you for choosing to read The Four Baristas: Double Shot. Secondly, I'd just like to mention this book is the sequel to the Watty-winning The Four Baristas of the Apocalypse, and while it's certainly possible to read it as a standalone work, I suspect it will be a more enjoyable experience after reading the first book.
Having said that, for the benefit of the time-challenged among you, I've put a brief synopsis of book one at the end of this book. It's the chapter cunningly titled: Synopsis of The Four Baristas of the Apocalypse.
It's also a handy reference for anyone who already has read the first book, but pretty much forgotten everything that happened.
Having said all that, if you're the reader-without-a-cause, take-no-prepositions type, then please—dive right in.
