(Y/n) POV

It's been about a week since my talk with James. Also, my life has oddly enough been pretty ordinary. Everything seems to have going smoothly. Well, except the fact that I am going dateless to the homecoming dance tonight. I even asked Kyle if he would take me, he said he would, but he definitely specified as friends. So now I'm going to the dance with him and his friends. Yupp, that's right, I'm going to the dance in a group. I guess I really messed up whatever Kyle and I had going on there. No surprise to me really, that seems to be what I do, just fuck up everything good that happens to me.It's alright though, at least he's still my friend, and that's what matters most. Plus, it's probably better that I get over Craig before I try moving on with someone else. The dance should be fun right? Going in a group with Kyle, Kenny, Stan and Cartman? Well, if it's not gonna be fun, at least I know it's going to be interesting.

I decided not to get too dressed up tonight, probably because I'm just not feeling it. I decided to put on a simple, white, long sleeve dress that cut off at the knees. It was a lose dress, but still classy. Just something that I would probably wear to a dinner. I put on just a small dash of makeup, then after looking in the mirror, I decided not to tamper with my hair, and just leave it natural. I made my way across my room to my bed, falling face first into the swarm of blankets. I let out a breath that I didn't realize I was holding in. I cuddled up into my blankets as I reached for my phone to text Kyle

*Hey, so when do you think you guys will get here?* Right after i sent the message, there was a knock at my bedroom door, followed by my brothers voice.

"Your, rides here." My phone then buzzed, I opened the message Kyle's message.

*We should be there in about 10 mins.* It read. 'Weird' I thought as I ran to my bedroom window. I looked out at the street, and there, parked on the side of my road, was Craig's Mustang. 'Holy shit!' I could feel myself beginning to panic, so I called Kyle.

    "Hello?" He answered.

"Yeah, Kyle? I think there has been a change in plans or something?" I could feel my voice shaking from the sudden rush of uncertainty ran through me.

"No new plans (Y/n). Is Craig there yet?" Kyle spoke like nothing out of the ordinary was happening right now. Did he plan this? Is that why he turned me down so quickly when I asked him to the dance.

"U-uhm Y-yeah. Wait, I'm confused." I said, still taken back from my current situation.

"You are going to homecoming with Craig, and the guys and I will see ya at the school in about 10 minutes." I could hear the smile playing through Kyle's voice, and I couldn't help but to imitate it. I swear, Kyle is the best friend I have ever had.

    "W-wait-" Kyle cut me off.

"Have fun tonight (Y/n). And if you need me, just say my name and I'll be at your side." He then hung up the phone, not letting me get another word in, not even a thank you. At the same time as the phone beeped off the line, the doorbell echoed through the house. I quickly out on my shoes and glanced in the mirror. Damn, I am immediately regretting not taking more time to get ready. 'Oh well', It's not like I have time to change anything now anyways. I practically skipped to the front door. When I answered, Craig stood there in the door frame, holding a bouquet of a dozen white roses in one hand, and three pink carnations in the other. He just stared at me, a soft smile playing on his lips. His eyes looking more blue than usual. He wasn't wearing his hat, which lets his dark locks of hair freely fall against his forehead.

"You look stunning (Y/n)." His words caused a wave of heat to flush my face.

"I can say the same to you." I said, as we gazed into each other's eyes. Oh my, it's been so long since we've talked, it feel so nice. I missed him.

"Would you like to come in for a bit?" I asked, earning a grin from the perfect boy standing in front of me. I moved aside, letting him in.

"These are for you" He handed me the roses while searching my face. ALmost as if he was looking for something. I felt butterflies swarm me as his hands gently caressed my own.

"And these are for your mom, but she doesn't seem to be here?"He questioned his own words. Wow, he has really out done himself.

"You are incredibly sweet Craig, but my parents are on a business trip at the moment. But let me put these in some water, they should still be good for when she comes home." I turned towards the kitchen so I could get the flowers situated. As I faced away from him for only a few moments before I felt suttle heat close behind. I turned slowly, Craig barely leaving any room between us. Before I could speak, his arms wrapped around me as he pressed his face to the nook of my neck.

"I missed you so much." He took a breath, like he was breathing in the sent of me. That familiar smell of citrus engulfing my own senses.

"I missed you too." I instinctively wrapped my arms around him tightly.

"I'm never letting you go again, that is, as long as you want me here." He lifted his head, looking down at me as he tucked some of my hair behind me ear.

"I want you here. Don't ever leave." I hugged him tightly, resting my head on his chest.

"I won't, not ever." His lips pressed against the top of my head.

"Let's get going, you deserve to have a wonderful night."

    "I'm already having one."
