Chapter 30

Emmas pov
I took what Grayson said to me and it definitely made me think, I really want what's best for E and I's relationship and if it's putting it out there then fine. Grayson leaves the bedroom and I just sit there and think of how to tell Ethan I'm ready, so I go out in around 5 minutes and try and find Ethan, he was still out on the balcony in the hot tub I had shorts on so I sat down on the edge and put my feet in the water
"Hey E"
"Hey Em" Of course awkward silence after that, I didn't know what to say
"So Grayson came into the room," he finally made eye contact
"And I told him about our little argument-" he cut me off
"Em, I know you don't want people knowing about us and I totally understand why, but I really want people to know, it's fun making them think we're dating but now that we actually are it feels weird"
"Wait, What feels weird?"
"I don't know, it's like I want everyone to know but at the same time I just want to keep giving hints."
"Well I came out here to tell you that I'm ready for people to know, but I totally agree with what your saying."
"Now I don't really know, you know?"
"One hundred percent." I step out and back into the room and I go lay in the bed, but then Grayson's in there with his shirt off, I think he was changing.
"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry."I say and laugh
"Oh, it's fine James spilled some pop on my other shirt so I had it change it. But how'd it go with E?"
"I honestly don't know, he's giving off so many signs that he wants to tell people but he's giving an equal amount that he wants it to still be a secret, will you help?"
"Yeah of course, but I just want you to know something." I stare
"I liked you when we hung out the first time." He says and walks away, that's all he says, and to say the least I'm shocked.
Grayson's pov
Emma and Ethan are dating and it doesn't surprise me, they were getting close at CreatorCon but if I'm being honest I thought me and Emma actually could've had something, we had a lot of fun when we got food, but I guess that's all it was. I told her I used to like her, probably not the smartest thing because she'll tell Ethan, but it's fine because I don't like her anymore.
Ethan's pov
Vegas sucks. Emma and I have gotten into an argument over something dumb and now I've sent her mixed thoughts on if we should be public or not, I'm such an idiot. Hopefully tomorrow's better.
Emmas pov. Leaving day
We're leaving Vegas today and I hope the car ride is just as fun as the one on the way here, gosh, just something about Ethan, I get this feeling that I can't explain. I text my mom that we're on our way back and she doesn't text back, it's not like her but lately she's been doing a lot of work, I haven't seen her in weeks, she works from home but these meetings have really got her going down. I didn't want to film the way home so I didn't, I just sang along with the music and held Ethan's hand almost the whole way. When we got to the Twins' house I put my stuff in my car then went inside, I just wanted to hangout with Ethan while Grayson takes James home, we just watched tv together on the couch but that alone time is really what I needed. I get up to get a blanket then Ethan gets up too, I don't worry about it too much, he comes back in with two sweatshirts and holds them up
"Which one do you want" I stare, he really knows me the best.
"Definitely the tan one, it's your favorite and it smells like you" he tosses it to me, I stand up and put it on, it's big like all the other ones, he puts his on then grabs my hands and looks me in the eyes and says
"Emma, you the best thing that's ever happened to me." We kiss then Grayson walks in the door,
"Woah, sorry to interrupt!" He yells and we laugh
"Not interrupting, I'm leaving." I kiss Ethan, give Grayson a high five and leave, as I walk out the door I say
"I'm not giving this back Ethan."
"Figured."
I drive home and text Hannah when I get there, I tell her I'm tired and I ask if she wants to hang out tomorrow, I almost forgot she has school, so I guess we're hanging out anyways since I take her to school and home. I go inside and see my mom and dad sitting on the couch waiting for me to get home,
"Honey why don't you have a seat." My dad says, I put my keys down on the counter and takeHey a seat on the chair next to the couch where they are.
"How was Vegas?" My mom says
"Fine.. what's going on here?" They look at each other, then my dad says something
"Honey, you know we've been traveling and constantly going to business meetings, it's a lot and your mom and I have come to an agreement." I stare, very confused.
"We got offered to open up our own company building."
"That's great!"
"But there's a catch. We'd have to move there." You have got to be kidding me. There's no way, I just made new friends and my life is turning out great and now I have to move to Boston and leave everything, I have to leave Hannah, I have to leave the twins. Ethan and Hannah are two of the people I care about the most and I have to leave them.
