Emmas pov
It's 12:30 a.m and I'm just now leaving David's party thing, I literally haven't checked my phone this whole time, I hope Hannah and Ellie aren't mad I'm a little late back. Matt walks me back to my hotel room,
"Bye Matt, I had fun, I'll see you tomorrow right?"
"Yeah, of course, I won't have as much free time though, the vlog squad has a couple interviews to do."
"Okay, well whenever you get a break just text me, I'll let you know what I'm doing."
"Okay, but there is something I wanted to talk about, I haven't got the chance to yet."
"Let's walk, I don't want to wake them up." We walk down the hall,
"So, Matt, what were you saying?"
"Well, during that one interview, you got asked if you had a boyfriend."
"Yeah and,"
"Who were you talking about? Like is that 'Ethma' thing real?"
"Oh, um, yeah. It's been almost 7 months"
"Oh, you see I had no idea. I wouldn't have been flirting with you all night if I knew, I'm sorry."
"No, Matt, it's fine. Ethan won't mind, you and I are just friends."
"I don't want it to be awkward between you and I now, and what if we're together and Ethan tries to like fight me or something." He laughs
"I'm like a twig, compared to him." We laugh,
"You'll be fine, I'll explain it all to him next time I see him."
"Okay good," We make it back to my room now,
"This is goodbye." He says, jokingly
"I'll see you tomorrow," I laugh kinda loudly
"Byeee" We say, I turn around and unlock the door, I was surprised to see the lights were still on, it's a huge hotel room, I had to go through a whole living room before I got to the bed room, I got to the door and I see the lights still on, weird. I open the door and I see Ellie, Hannah and Ethan sitting on the two beds.
"Uhh what's this?"
"There you are, oh my gosh." Ethan says,
"Here I am."
"What took you so long? Your like an hour later than you said you would be" Hannah says
"Wait, where were you exactly ?" Ethan asks
"I was with some friends, why?"
"You smell of alcohol, were you drinking?" Ethan ask
"God, no, of course not. I would never. Everyone else there was drinking, I promise. Matt and I stayed away from that stuff."
"Who's Matt?" He asked
"A friend of David's,"
"Any friend of David's drinks and does drugs, Emma."
"I don't and I'm a friend of David's. And I'm sure Matt has drank, but he didn't when i was there I don't see the problem."
"There's not a problem, I'm sorry. As long as you guys are just friends."
"Well obviously we're just friends, Ethan, I'm with you. I love you." That's the first time I've ever said that, Hannah and Ellie are standing there shocked.
"Emma, I love you too." I hug him and whisper
"You will never lose me to Matt, or anyone else. I promise." He hugs me tighter, I let go
"You need to get back to Grayson, does he know where you are?"
"Probably not, ill go, bye Emma, bye guys, see ya tomorrow."
"See ya,"
"Wait, do you wanna do something tomorrow, after the convention?"
"Uh, like what?"
"There's a fair going on at the beach, Hannah and Ellie can come, I'll bring Gray, I'm sure tons of people will be there."
"Okay," I look at Hannah and Ellie
"You guys wanna come?"
"Sure, thanks" Hannah says
"Anyways, tell Gray I said hi,"
"I will," then he walks out the door.
"Why did you tell him you loved him?!" Ellie says,
"Did you mean it??"Hannah says following
"I mean, yeah, I guess. No, I meant it."
"Your giving me mixed thoughts, Emma." Hannah says
"I'm sorry, but it just slipped out, I didn't mean to say it, but I meant it, does that make sense?" They stare at me blankly,
"Well, we've got to get to bed anyways, we have a very long day ahead of us."
"Okay!" Ellie says and jumps on the bed.

the next day
It's Saturday, tomorrow's the last day of CreatorCon, I woke up before Hannah and Ellie, to say the least I'm surprised, it was only by like 15 minutes, but enough time to postmate coffee, I got three so they could have some when they woke up, we got ready for CreatorCon, today was a very chill day, the only thing we have to do is go to the fair later with Ethan, Gray, and some other people I think. We get to the convention center and go to our booth, I can hear the people from David's Vlogs booth behind us, I leave and go to their booth to go say hi, I walk in through the lines of rope where people will be lining up soon,
"Heyyyy" I say,
"Emmaaaa," Matt says
"What's up?"
"Nothing, just heard you guys and wanted to know what the noise was about."
"Just a little preparation you know, very long day."
"Yeah, I'm going to need so much coffee."
"Same, we should go grab some, don't we have a break at the same time?"
"Yeah we do, it's 2:45, you know any good coffee places?" I ask
"Yeah, there's one right down the street, we can find a way to sneak off and get away from the fans for a bit."
"Sounds good, can't wait." Zane suddenly walks up
"Hey what's up guys, how's it going?"
"It's going great," I say
"amazing, so looking forward to this very long day." Matt says
"Matt you ain't got nothin' goin' on besides this." Zane says in a sassy voice.
"Yeah, Matt, I've gotta go to a whole fair on the beach to go to after this." I say back
"Who is taking you to the beach on this day?" Zane says
"Maybe my boyfriend." Just as I say that my phone dings,
"Well maybe that's your boyfriend now."Matt says, and its right.

Emma, I feel terrible, but I have to go back to Jersey ASAP, I love you. See you soon, I'll let you know what's going on once I find out❤️

I look up at them staring at me,
"Well, maybe not my boyfriend, he just canceled." We all start laughing,
"Great then I'm takin' ya." Matt says
"SMOOTH" Zane and I say at the same time
"Great, I'll see you later. Feel free to bring Zane and others, Hannah and Ellie are coming."
"Okay, see you at like, 6?"
"Yep, sounds good." I walk away and go look for Ethan, I know he's leaving but I really want to see him before he goes, and then I saw him, he was hugging Grayson, I hardly ever see this. I walk up to them and tap Ethan on the shoulder,
"Hey, Ethan, I was hoping I'd be able to see you before you left, is everything okay?" He turned around, he was tears in his eyes.
"Oh my gosh, what happened?"
"It's our dad," I just remembered he got diagnosed with cancer a few years back. I pull them both into a hug,
"It's gonna be alright."
"No it won't." Ethan says.
"The-uh- the doctor. The doctor said he's only got about a week left." Grayson finishes
"That's terrible, I'm really really sorry."
"Thanks, Emma, it really means a lot." Grayson says
"But we need to get going," He says
"Okay, be safe,I love you both." I say and they leave.
