Chapter 46

Emmas pov
"Grayson? What're you doing here?"
"Hey! E was still asleep and I wanted to be a nice brother, he was up for like 26 hours, so was I but I took a nap."
"Oh, good to see you, I'm sure you don't want to be out long, you wanna go ahead and leave?" I ask
"Well, Bryant just landed, let's go find him first."
"Okay, which terminal?"
"Ummm, B I'm pretty sure." We walk from terminal D where I was all the way to B, it's kind of a long walk but not really. Bryant's still getting off his plane and he still has to get his bags so Gray and I sit on chairs and wait, I get a good look at him, he's closing his eyes but I can see the bags underneath his eyes, his whole family must be exhausted, I honestly have no idea how he managed to get up and come all the way out here, I'm proud on how strong their family is.
"Why are you staring at me?" He asks
"Your eyes are closed, how did you know?"
"I read that when you feel someone staring at you there's a good chance that it's actually happening, just a hunch."
"Damn, well, you were right."
"Why were you"
"I don't know, just examining."
"Ah, I see" his eyes are still closed
"I think I see Bryant," I say, he opens his eyes and we stand up. We see Bryant walking from baggage claim, he walks over to us and we talk for a bit. After we catch up we go to Grays car which is on the 7th level of the parking garage, Grayson doesn't really say much the whole way down except 'the cars on the 7th level.' And there's still an hour and 30 minutes till we get to his house, it's going to be a quiet, awkward, car ride. And it was, we get to his house 2 hours later because of traffic, no one said anything, I sat in the back and they played their own music. We walk into their house and there's still a happy feeling, it feels like home. We get greeted by Lisa while Cameron and Ethan are sitting on the couch watching tv, I hug Lisa and sit by Ethan,
"Hey, E, how are you feeling?" He sighs
"Better, it's still really hard though."
"Yeah, I may not understand but I'm here now. I can help."
"I know, thank you."
"Of course."
"Let's bring your bags to the guest room." We stand up and he takes my suitcase
"No, I can take it." I say
"I got it." We walk up the stairs, there's a lot of doors, they're all closed, I have no idea who's is who's, but he opens a door at the very end of the hallway, it's got a bed, a tv, a closet, a bathroom, and a dresser, this must be my room.
"Here you go, make yourself at home. Unpack if you want, my rooms the first one to the left when you come up the stairs, Graysons room is the one directly across from this one, Bryant's next door, there's a bathroom in here but if any reason you need another one there's one next to Graysons room, my moms room is downstairs, I'll show you around downstairs whenever your ready, just meet me down there." He says and before I can really say anything he walks away. I can hear Gray giving Bryant the same speech, when I hear his door close, I hear it open again less than 30 seconds later, Bryant walks into my room, he's as dumbfounded as I am,
"What the hell was that?" He asks
"I don't know, they're going through a lot." I say
"I know, I've just never seen them like this."
"What should we do? Should be go downstairs or give them space?" I ask
"Probably give them space, they shoved us in our rooms for some reason." He says
"Yeah I guess, wanna watch a movie?" I ask
"Sure, pick out a scary one, I'll be right back, I've gotta pee, that was a long plane ride."He says
"Alright." I pull out my laptop and go to Netflix, if Bryant and I aren't taking pictures or eating we're most likely watching a scary movie. I scroll through the scary movies category and click on one called "hush" Bryant and I like to watch movies that no one ever watches, but we're changing it up tonight. Bryant comes back in 30 seconds later with fuzzy blankets,
"I found these in a closet down the hall, so I grabbed two." He hands me a blanket and sits down on the bed next to me, Ethan doesn't care if I hangout with Bryant since he has girlfriend, her names Jodie, she's super sweet. He puts his blanket over him and I put mine over me and I set the laptop between us both.
"So, what're we watching?" He asks
"Hush, I thought I'd switch it up a bit."
"Oh, I actually haven't seen this one yet. Let me turn off the lights" he turns off the big light but we keep the color changing ones on for more light.
           Around a half an hour into the movie there's a knock on my door,
"Come in" I say and pause the movie, Ethan peeks his head in through the door,
"Hey, what're you guys doing?"
"Just watching a movie, wanna join us?"
"Sure." He says shyly, I've never seen him like this. Bryant's on my right side so E comes and lays on my left, he lays his head on my arm and we share a blanket, I love the feeling of him, I feel safe. We all lay there and watch the movie.

When the movies over I look over at Ethan and he's asleep,
"Thanks for watching the movie with me." I say
"No biggy, I'm gonna go check on Gray, take a nap or something."
"Okay." Thankfully Ethan wasn't on my arm still, he was laying on the pillow, I lay all the way down and lay more towards the right side so Ethan has more room to sleep, I fall asleep almost right away, it's still only like 11 am. I wake up at 1:30 pm, Ethan wasn't next to me anymore, all the lights in the room were off, even the color changing ones, Ethan probably turned them off when he got up. I get up and look in the mirror, I don't want to look the absolute worst in front of his family. I brush my hair and put it into a bun, I grab my phone and put my hand on the door knob, I stand there for a moment, take a deep breath, and open the door. I take a left and slowly walk down the hallway, I don't hear anyone so I walk down the stairs, it would be different if I knew where Ethan was, his stairs lead to the kitchen, I want water but I don't know where the cups are, I'll just take a wild guess and I was right, I grab a cup and start filling it up when Lisa walks in.
"Oh, hi, Emma, I didn't even hear you."
"Hi, Mrs. Dolan."
"Ha! Please, call me Lisa, your family now." Woah, I was not expecting that.
