at first sight - ethan and emma

Chapter 58

Emma's pov
"Ethan of course you can have a second chance." I say and he holds me tighter. "I'll leave you two alone." My mom says and walks out, I honestly forgot she was in here.

I look up at Ethan and kiss him, "I've missed this" he says "you have no idea how much I have" I reply. "You look exhausted. Wanna take a nap?" He ask "yes. As long as you're staying here with me."
"As long as you need me." He says.

We fell asleep cuddling while watching a movie in my bed, I've needed this.

I wake up a few hours later still in Ethan's arms, I quietly sneak out of his arms and grab my phone off of the table by the door, as I walk back I can see Ethan waking up.

He sits up and he has bed head, his face is also puffy, but it's cute. "Morning sleepy" I say and he chuckles "I can tell you just woke up too." I smile and sit at the end of the bed.

"I'm hungry and it's," I check my phone, "5:30, wanna go get dinner?" I ask "oh hell yeah, let's go." He says

Around 10 minutes later Ethan and I take my moms car to some restaurant, my mom and dad had reservations but they couldn't go so they gave them to us. Let's just say we're very underdressed.

When we get there everyone looks at us weird, the host even gave us a weird look. My mom called and said we were taking it instead so they had to let us in.

We sit in a booth and a fan comes up to us, "oh my gosh, I didn't think I was ever going to see this again. This is literally a once in a lifetime chance, can I please get a picture?" She begs, Ethan and I just look at each other "please, I promise I won't post it if you don't want me to."
"Of course you can have a picture." I say without even talking to Ethan "and you can post it, it's fine. Right emma?"
"Yeah, of course" I say, we get out of the booth and her mom takes a picture of the three of us

Our food gets brought to us around 30 minutes later and we turn off our phones so Instagram and any other social platform don't annoy us, we need this time so ourselves.

"Emma, were dating right?" He asks "yeah, why?"
"Well, our one year is on Friday, and I was wondering if we could do something, or post something even. I mean, I think it's time to tell our fans, right? I mean they basically already know" he says, he's right. It is time. "You're right, it's time. I mean that girl is going to post that picture and people will know we're together in Boston. Might as well post something now" I say, not really looking up from my food, he grabs my hands "hey, if you don't want to, I get it."
"No, it's not that, I want to. But, I'm scared. I've never had a public relationship, like on the internet."
"I get it, I haven't really either."
"So let's do it, let's post something big on Friday and just whatever we want till then."
"That sounds perfect."

A couple hours pass and we're finally back at my house, just watching movies. "I'm tired, I'm gonna brush my teeth and go to bed." Ethan says "okay, you better be sleeping here with me"
"Would your parents let me?"
"I'm 18 dummy"

I take a Snapchat of me in bed and what i was watching on tv, oh shit, you can see Ethan in the mirror from the bathroom. Oh well, it'll be okay.

Ethan's pov
Monday 2:30 pm
"Ethan, you've gotta come back home, we have to post tomorrow and we don't have an intro or an outro"

"I can't leave Emma, I want to stay with her."

"Have her come with, or fly to Jersey then fly back to Boston, figure it out soon."

"Okay, I'll text you."

I don't really want to go to Jersey, I want to see my family but Emma gets nervous around my mom, I'll ask her anyways.

Emma's editing her video so it's either the perfect time or the worst time. She's sitting at her desk in her room, all by herself. I come up behind her and wrap my arms around her, she sighs.

"Babe, you okay?"
"Yeah, just very stressed. I don't want to edit anymore."
"Come to Jersey with me, it'll help you."
"Ethan, I can't travel when I have to edit and post by Wednesday."
"I'll help"
"Okay, when do we leave?"
"We have to be at the airport by 4:30 today."
"Ethan, that's two hours. I have to pack."
"Then let's get started"

Emma's pov
When we get to the airport there's a lot of people, and so many fans. Ethan grabs my hand, "are you okay?" He asks "yeah, there's just a lot of people."
"I get it, I'm here though."
"Thank you." I hair and pull myself closer to him. Another fan walks up to us, "oh my gosh are you guys dating?" She asks "yes" I say without needing to ask Ethan or look at him, it's time. "You finally confirmed it! Can we have a picture?"
"Of course"

After hours of walking through airports, a long plane ride, and a really long drive, we finally made it to Ethan's house.

We pull into the driveway, "you ready?" I take a deep breath, "yeah, what's there to be nervous about?" He smiles

When we walk in gray is sitting on the couch, he looks over at us, "Emma?" He says and runs over to us then hugs me "he actually got you back huh?"
"Somehow" I smile and hug him again "wow thanks for the hug, both of you." Ethan says and crosses his arms, gray and I pull him into a group hug.

A few hours later E and Gray are done filming whatever they had left. E and I are now in his room on his bed watching a movie when he pauses it. "What're you doing?" I ask "I have a few questions." He says and I sit up, lifting my head off him chest then he sits up

"okay, what are they?" I ask "well, while we were on our break, what did you do with Colby?" He asks, of course he does "nothing? I think."
"What do you mean you think, Emma?" He asks raising his voice a little "well one night we went to a party and I think we kissed." I say tears now swelling my eyes "oh my god, Emma, you know I don't like when you drink."
"Yes, I know. I wasn't thinking."
"How did you guys even meet?"
"I was in San Francisco right after we broke up and while I was walking around I bumped into Sam and Colby then we filmed a video and got close." Ethan shakes his head and puts his face into his hands "I'm sorry, Ethan."
"And you've hung out with them everyday since."
"Probably." He sighs and stands up "at least I'm honest!" I yell "we should've talked about this before we got back together!" He yells and storms out, slamming the door causing me to flinch. Fuck. Here we go again.
