Chapter 32

Grayson's pov
I hope Emma doesn't have to move, she's such a good friend and it would absolutely crush Ethan. Her room looks the exact same from the last time, there's just more pictures up, her room smells like vanilla, she always has candles lit. When we get home Ethan goes straight to his room, I'm surprised he didn't grab a snack first. I go into his room after him,
"Hey E, you hungry?"
"No"
"You sure?"
"Gray I said I'm not hungry."
"That's the first. Are you feeling okay?"
"No, Gray, I'm scared."
"Of?"
"Of Emma moving to Boston, I played it off cool, but I'm really scared, sick to my stomach really."
"E, it's gonna be okay, she'll stay, I promise."
"Thanks bro, but I am hungry, postmate pancakes." I laugh and walk out the door and postmate pancakes, they get here and we devour them. E takes a nap while I chill outside, I sure hope she stays.
Emmas pov
My mom, dad, Hannah and I are sitting on the couch,
"So, Hannah and I thought of something."
"Go ahead." My dad says
"You guys can go to Boston and I'll just get an apartment here." My parents look at each other, and nod.
"We'll see honey." They call me honey when they don't want to hurt my feelings, and it works
"I need an answer so I can start looking, there's not a lot of time left"
"We'll be right back, honey." My mom and dad go upstairs,
"Em, they're definitely going to let you stay, and when they tell you that your aloud, we're going right upstairs and looking for apartments."
"Wait I have an idea, this would be a great video" I laugh
"So true" we're laughing really hard for some reason then my parents come back downstairs and we automatically stop.
"So..?" I say
"It's tough decision but your mom and I have decided that we will let you stay and we'll buy you an apartment." Hannah and I's has drops and we start screaming
"But," My mom says
"You have to pay your own rent each month, but we will pay your first month" My dad finishes
"Deal!!" Oh my god I'm so happy.
"Come on Emma lets go looking!!" She pulls my hand and as we're running we yell thanks and run up the stares to my room, I turn on some music and we get my lap top and go to my bed, we start looking for apartments near me, there's a lot, they're not they expensive either.
We look for apartments for hours, we found around 7 that I liked, we called all the people and we're going to tour them all this weekend. I decided to text in the 'sister squad' group chat

That chat got weird fast, anyways, I'm really happy I'm staying here, I'll miss my parents a lot but recently they haven't even around a lot but neither have I, I'll be okay. It's around midnight, Hannah and I are still looking at apartments, she gets tired so she lays down I do too but I'm still on my laptop, now I ended up on Instagram, I'm scrolling through when Ethan starts FaceTiming me, I answer,

Nothing really, Hannah's asleep next to me and I'm scrolling through Instagram

Oh my god Ethan. Anyways, I have to go through the back or else the lights will turn on outside, park at the end of my driveway and I'll be there.

I'm very confused, why do I need a bathing suit at 2:30 in the morning?? For some reason I get up and go to my closet, I grab my bathing suit and put it on, then I put on a sweatshirt and sweatpants then slide on some Birkenstock's. I write Hannah a note just in case, then I go down stairs quietly and sit on the couch till Ethan's here. I go through my back door and make my way around the motion lights, I get to the end of my driveway and see Ethan's car, I open the door and he jumps a little, I sit down and put my seatbelt on
"Ethan, can you tell me where we're going now?" He smiles, but doesn't look at me
"No can do."
"Ethan! You just got me out of bed at 3:00 am and you won't even tell me where we're going."
"Water."
"What the hell does that mean?"
"You'll find out, just be patienttt." He's smiling so big, it's the cutest thing ever, I can't help but smile. He grabs my hand and my heart just melts, he's the best. We were listening to some music on the way, then he stops and we're at the beach.
"Ethan, what are we doing here?"
"Follow me." I take his hand and he takes me to a spot on the beach, it's a gazebo with fairy lights all around it, I'm speechless. He's still holding my hand and we walk up to the gazebo, inside there was a table, on the table there was two plates and a gallon of water since we don't drink. With my other hand I'm covering my mouth, I'm shocked. Only Ethan Dolan would bring me on a date to the beach, with water and  cake, at 3 am.
