The last thing I had expected was to see a warlock leave the ugly demon’s house. I was now staring at the yellow-eyed warlock; his eyes were wide open as if he had not expected me to be here. However, soon he seemed to regain his cool, a small though fake looking smirk now in his face. Even so, I could hear his mundane heart beating at an abnormal rate. Not to mention that his looked shaken, betraying his great efforts of trying to look cool.
“I didn’t quite, expect a bloodsucker to be close to the house of a demon,” The warlock said as he cocked his head, his eyes looking straight into mine.
“What a pity… should’ve told the whole world u was coming here through tweeter! #excitedtokillawarlock!” I said as I forced my voice to into a higher pitch at the last part of my sentence. I must admit that I did try to keep a serious but mocking face as I did so. However I couldn’t help but crack a smile as the warlock looked at me with a bewildered and culture-shocked face.
A while passed until finally the warlock was able to regain his cool, which I must really comment was broken very but very easily, he sighed and raised his gaze back up to me.
“How funny…” He said as his voice broke at the last part of his sentence. He scowled at this and I just shrugged, pitying the poor boy. Though I could see how he had started to slowly analyse our surroundings as if checking if I was here alone or with my gang.
“I am a lone vampire,” I said, the warlock jumped and looked surprised as if not expecting me to say that. “I’m not really fond of bloodsuckers, though I, myself, am one… by the way, your name was Na…” I furrowed my eyes as I thought deeply in my head, obviously I knew his name but I wasn’t going to go around pleasing the boy.
“Nacho… Nacho, right?” I asked as I pointed my finger at him and winked.
“It’s Nathan!” he said scowling.
“But I like ‘Nacho’ more than that name…” I said as I pouted mockingly at the boy.
“Well… I don’t like it.”
“Didn’t ask for your opinion!”
Nacho scowled angrily as he rolled his eyes. I wasn’t the best person when it came to socializing, but I was born to be talented when it came to annoying people. Yes, socializing and annoying people are totally different matters.
Anyways, as our conversation continued I jumped off the place I had been in and landed quietly and gracefully into cement. I looked at the warlock that was standing just a few meters away from me. I couldn’t help but smirk as I looked at the still annoyed warlock, he seemed to be trying to constraint himself, not to explode some weird magic on my face.
“What did you do to her?” I asked as I pointed at the house, still hearing the whimpering sounds from the inside.
“I just limited her magic, making her unable to move. Even if the circle’s gone it has already sapped her magic out, she’ll have to rest for a few days to fully recover.”
“Then, what about letting her go, Nacho?”
“I can’t do so, the circle will be gone soon enough… and don’t call me Nacho!”
“Shall I call you Natty?”
“No!”
“Then suck up with it, Nacho. Now back to the topic. Let her go, or I’ll have to force you to do so.” I said.
As soon as I finished saying those words my fangs came out of their gums and my eyes slowly turned red. My veins were now very visible from even afar, looking like lines of black and green curling through my pale skin.
“Bring it on.” Nacho said, smirking.

Hey guys,
This is J.E Clark at your service. I am actually thinking of making small popularity test for this small little chapter. The characters are slowly developing and their personalities are slowly showing up. I was wondering to see who would be the favorite of other people. Just comment the name of the person and I'll make a small section in the book, like a small non-related but somewhat related scene of the character that was most voted on. Hope this goes well.
The people you may choose from are:
-Lily
-Cole
-Nathan
-Julia
-Kyle
Thanks for everything!
