"Allison get up!" Alex continued to jump on me. This has been going on for ten minutes now. I refuse to get up because it's only 12:30 in the afternoon and I stayed up all night reading, I know I'm a dork. After I finished the cake and went upstairs with my mom, I started a book and finished it at five o'clock. But then I couldn't sleep, so I ended up falling asleep at like seven. I only got five and a half hours of sleep. I will not be looking attractive later today.
"I don't wanna," I mumbled into the pillow. I really didn't want to get up and face the day. Today could end up really bad or really good. I'm not sure which way it will go. I mean tonight I'm suppose to go to the party with Luke and Ashton, and his girlfriend Lillian. I want to go, but I haven't mentioned it to my mom or even thought about what she would say.
"Please!" Alex stopped jumping and laid at my side. I flipped over to face him, "I just really want to go to the park. Tom is working, and mommy starting to make dinner. I just want to see what it's like! it's not far. Tom said to ask you because he said, 'Allison will take you if she wants to go to the party tonight,' so I asked you."
Tom knows about the party, god damn he knows everything. How am I suppose to get away with stuff? I mean he's suppose to be naïve, but maybe if I go he'll let me go tonight.
"we'll leave at one," I groaned while Alex smiled showing off his cute little dimples on both cheeks. They reminded me off Luke. except Luke's only showed on one cheek. I didn't have any dimples which made me kind of mad. I've always wanted dimples, but I guess I'll never had them.
"Yay! I love you sissy," Alex kissed my nose and then giggled.
"I love you Alex," I smiled before kissing his nose and tickling him. Alex was letting out screams of happiness. He was laughing so hard I thought that he would've broke his laugh box now, if we had one of course.
"Allison stop!" Alex shrieked, "I'm gonna pee my pants!" That's when I moved my hands away from him and laughed at him still recovering from my tickles, "Now get dressed missy, we will be leaving soon!" Alex pointed a finger at me trying to look tough. I saluted him and he marched out of my room and into his to change from his pajamas.
I smiled at him as he walked away, Alex was so cute. I'm so happy to have a little brother, I will always have at least one guy in my life!
I went over to my dresser and pulled out a pair of jean shorts and then to my closet. I searched to look for a comfortable shirt since I'll be playing with Alex most of the time. I finally picked out a tank top and chose a red flannel to go with it. I grabbed my black vans and phone then headed down stairs. I didn't want to pass by Tom because I didn't want to talk about the party, so I quickly rushed down the hallways trying to avoid him in his office.
"Allison!" he said before I could get away. I swore underneath my breath.
"yes?" I walked in pulling down my shorts a little. I knew they were short, but I still wore them because they were comfortable.
"you can go," Tom said, "to the party I mean. I heard you talk about it yesterday on the phone, plus Luke came over this morning and asked if you were home first, then asked me if you could go with him. I said yes and convinced your mom. the only way you don't go is if he is a fool at dinner, but I doubt that will happen."
Wait, Luke came over to ask for me, then asked if he could take me to the party? Man, he really does wanna make my mom like him. I mean I would too. if my mom doesn't like you. then I don't really know what to say except good luck with being friends with me. She doesn't like guys in my life anymore due to what happened with Jake, and of course my dad. I don't blame her for protecting me.
"really?" I smiled at him, "thank you!" I ran over to him and hugged him, something I don't normally do. "I'll text you guys this time. My phone was dead last time I was out with them so I couldn't text you. I promise I will be home when you guys want me to be."
