17. unsold heart (octameter)

36 9 22

an innocent mind:
a fragile pink thing
grips a baby heart
within its soft folds,
shyly playing with
threads of woven gold
beating in fervor
with a life untold...

there is not a room
for tough wickedness
wonder breaks apart
momentary gloom
naivete breeze in
swaying rosy blooms
heart stands tall and bold
to this day, unsold...
