Chapter 22: missing piece part two

i looked inside and saw a balmeran crystal, i gasped, "how?!", they looked me, "the galra had to been close, and voltron had to be fighting", i walked up to the crystal, i put my hand on it, i was taught this when i was at the blade,"its fresh", the assassin squad put their hands over their mouths, "its a sign", i looked at krolia, "what do you mean?", "the earth is in danger", "how do you know?", "the galra always drop a balmeran crystal before they destroy is as a warning and to show they did it", i clenched my jaw, the galra really piss me off, "gray i need you to try and get in contact with the blade and voltron NOW!", i was so angry, i jumped into gray, "have you gotten in contact", "i have the blade but not voltron, but what is it for?", "the galra sent a cryatal", he went quiet, he stopped breathing for a second, he inhaled deeply, he exhaled slowly, "ill get voltron, you hang tight, take the crystal and ship with your lion, ill get back to you understand", "yes sir!", the screen went black, i walked out of gray, i grabbed some rope, i tied it to the ship, i tried pulling it, i groaned, 'cora lend me your strength', i felt the strength from the dragon within myself flow through my veins, 'shadow lend me your strength', the strength of the wolf in me washed over me, i pulled on the ship, the ship flew over me, "shit too much!", i ran to teh ship and caught it, i grunted from the sudden weight, i walked up to gray, a door to where the small hover car was opened, i walked inside moving the car with my hip, i placed the ship down in the cock pit, 

i walked out, they all stared at me like i was insane, i felt dizzy, i collapsed onto the ground, my breathing went uneven, boss ran up to me, "are you using too much power?", i shook my head no, "dont lie you wouldnt fall if you were just using cora and shadow, what else are you doing?", "im changing their looks", i pointed to the assassination squad, "stop using that power now", i released the power, the illusion fell, they stared at them, "rad!", i looked at max, i laughed,i stood up, my legs were really shaky, alex tried to help me but i pushed him away, "im fine ive had worse", i smiled, he put his hands up in defeat, i chuckled, "ok lets go back home", we all nodded, "but how am i gonna hide their looks?, people wouldnt take well to aliens", the squad stared at me, "aliens?", "yeah people see you as aliens, yeah its a weird word for a different race", they nodded, boss walked up to them, he put his hand up, purple light came out of his hand, after 5 minutes the light was gone, he put his hand down, i walked back to us, i stared at him weird, "we are the only ones that can see what they really look like, and i am using a safer technique", i sighed, "now everyone go home, we will take care of the ship", i waved to my squad and walked inside of gray, i sat down in gray silently, "how much time do you think we have until they strike gray?", 'a year, a month, a week, a day, an hour, maybe even a minute, there is no way to tell', i looked down at my lap, i inhaled deeply, i exhaled, once everyone was on bored i cloaked gray, i took of when the cloaking was complete, we flew over brightly lit cities, i smiled, once we got home everyone got off, "ill take the ship out of gray you guys get some rest", they all nodded to me, "cora shadow lend me your strength", i felt the 2 combined powers wash over me, i fell forward i felt dizzy from all the power, i stood up and walked to the cockpit, 

i picked up the ship, gray opened the door, i walked out of her and placed the ship gently down, i opened the ship once again and stared at the glowing balmeran crystal, "it reminds me of the castle", i paused, "i wanna go home", i thought of all the fun times with the team, the time when lance thought the castle was haunted but it was just the crystal that was messed with, i smiled softly, i touched the crystal, "the balmera must be hurt, there was no energy given back to the poor animal", (if you havent watched voltron a blamera is a large space creature that is like a planet but is an animal, they grow crystals that power altean ships like the castle of lions, and altea was an ancient civilization that was on a planet that was destroyed by zarkon who is the galran emperor, he is terrible he used to be the pilot of the black lion he turned evil by an energy that was like life it was in everyone and if you have enough youll be really strong and its called quintessence), i sighed, i closed it, i gave the strength back to my wolf and dragon, gray already closed herself, i smiled at her, i walked inside her and sat back down, "hey were did you keep lances jacket?", a drawer opened, i looked at the jacket, i picked it up, the smell of him was fesh, "why is it so fresh?", "well i know what you all smell like, and i know you like his smell so i keep it smelling like him", i was shocked, i put it up to my nose, i closed my eyes thinking of him, kolvains cam came on, "i have contact with voltron there on with me", i threw his jacket imto the drawer, i grabbed my cloak and threw it over my head to hide my face, "thank you sir", i looked at shiro's cam, "now what did we need to discuss?", i explained the situation to them, "were on our way", i smiled as lance talked,"if anything happens you have my word to fight until my last breath", i sounded so stern, "thats the spirit!", i looked at keiths cam, i chuckled softly, "sir i have to go, i need rest, and so do the paladins", they all nodded, "we will be off now", shiro ended the chat, "what was with the jacket?", my head shot up, "wha---what are you talking about?", "im not dumb you know how sharp my eyes are, its the blue paladins isnt it?", i put my hand on my neck, it only did it when i was nervous, "so you have affection toward him?", i nodded, "but that wont ruin my mission, my mission comes before anything sir", he smiled, "you should get some rest sir", "yes i guess i do", he chuckled, i turned my cam off, i slouched in my chair, i groaned, "gray im gonna go to my room and sleep ok", 'get some rest', "you too", i smiled and walked up to my room, i plopped onto my bed not bothering with my armor, i fell asleep instantly,
