Chapter 18: pain

when lance woke up we hugged him tightly, "who died?", he asked as a joke, i stared at him, "antok", my voice broke, he looked shocked, then hung his head, i stood up, i put my hand out to help him up, we walked out to the others, i walked to the fire at our camp, hunk was already making food, i walked up to him, "hello paladin, i see you're making food, what might it be?", "its a mash there things called potato's and some spice from a planet", "i know what potato's are i've been to earth", he nodded, he grabbed a spoonful, he held it to me, "try", he smiled warmly, i took a bite, it was so good, "oh...my...QUIZNAK!!", he chuckled, "it's so good!!!", i smiled wide, "when will it be ready?!?!", "soon, im making some meat", i nodded and ran, i ran to my lion and grabbed my weapons, i ran grabbing the things i needed to clean them, i grabbed a sharpener, i sat down on a large rock, i called on akuma first, i cleaned and sharpened her, i called on shadow, i cleaned my whip, i called on irene, i cleaned and sharpened her, i grabbed all of my knives and swords and cleaned them, once i was done i grabbed all of my guns i started to clean them, 

once i was done with that i put them all back into place, i ran back to the others, the rest of the assassination team was training, keith, lance hunk, pidge, and shiro were eating, i looked at hunk with puppy eyes, he rolled his eyes then smiled, he dished me up some food, i jumped in excitement, i took in a spoon full of the food, the flavor was so strong, i loved it, ive been eating plain food goo, im so happy, i shoved the rest of my food into my mouth, i smiled, he laughed, i nodded in thanks, i ran to go train with the others, 

after a training session with the assassination squad i walked over to sit with voltron, i sat next to keith, hunk and pidge, i smiled to myself, 'just like old times', lance sat across from us, i got excited, all my excitement vanished when allura came and sat on lance's lap, lance's cheeks flushed, "wow princess, this is new", i growled, "im sorry lonce", (she has a london accent so i wont put A's just O's for her), i rolled my eyes, i sunk in between keith and pidge's bodies, "im really tired so i had to, please forgive me lonce", with a huff i stood up and left, i looked back at the disgusting scene, allura and the rest looked confused, (just so you know i hate allura i just cant stand her like sauske, they give me bad vibes), i walked to the squad, "hello rookie", i looked at krolia, "whats wrong you normally laugh?", i pointed to lance and the rest, she saw allura on lance's lap, she looked at me, "ohhhhhhh, common kid you know how he is", (so her squad know's who she is soo yee), i sighed, "Well i mean i though i could at least have a chance", she sighed and hugged me, "you should rest", i nodded and walked to my lion, i grabbed my phone and put a song on, (stupid and anxious)

(listen to whole song its important), i started to cry when he sang the lyric "im so goddamn sick of my heart getting messed with", my tears fell hard and quick, i curled into a ball in my chair, i put it on replay until i knew every lyric by heart, without realizing i fell asleep, i woke up to someone shaking me, i looked up rubbing my eyes, i saw it was "lonce", "common we have to go to another base, anyway why sleep in your lion, i mean that can't be comfortable", i rolled my eyes, "why do you care?," "why not?", "stupid lover boy lance", i mumbled under my breath, "huh?", "nothing", i said coldly, i stood up pushing past him, i blasted my music, i put the song on repeat again, i grabbed my weapons, all of them, i strapped them all to my body, 'im not gonna be played with', i put on my mask, i walked out to the others, i nodded, everyone loaded into the cars, i walked up to an empty car, "why not load with us?", i looked at lance, allura was in the car, "im going to drive alone", i jumped into the car without another word, "krolia?", "yes", "directions", she sent them to me, i raced there, once i arrived, i sat out front and waited for the others, i turned the camo on, once the cars arrived i jumped out and ran inside, i destroyed the two guards, 

when i turned the corner i was knocked out, i woke up in a cell, i jumped up, 'why does my luck suck?!?!', i banged on the door, to my surprise cora and shadow's strength came through, i knocked the door out of place, i ran out, "akuma!", i pulled my sword out of my hand, i ran around looking for my team, 'not again', i turned a corner, nothing, i continued to run, 'not again', i searched rooms, nothing, tears threatened to spill, the dam was about to break, i knew a flood was coming, 'not again!', i screamed at myself in my head, i rounded a corner, i saw lance taking a group on his own, he was beat up but still fighting, pidge was out cold, hunk had tears in his eyes, shiro was taking a group with allura, my team was nowhere to be seen, 'NOT AGAIN!!!!' i screamed in my head, the dam burst, i tried to yell, nothing came out, "AKUMA-IRE-SHOU", I yelled as i pulled the flaming sword out of my head, i didnt know why or how my sword was on fire, i had an idea, 'cora', i didnt feel it but my ears, tail, horns, and wings grew out of me, i flew at the soldiers, i cut them all down, "WHERE ARE THEY?!", I screamed at them, lance pointed down the hall, i raced down the hall not realizing i was flying, i saw my team losing badly, i attacked all of them, tears were flowing out of my eyes like rivers, 

i chocked back a sob, once they were all dead i turned around, i looked at my friends, "is everyone okay?", "no one died this time", i nodded, i looked at my suit, "its ripped", i felt my wings and horns, "shit", i knelt down, i looked at them, i put my hands out, "i havent used this quirk in awhile so i dont know if it works", i put my hands on their injuries, vines over took the injury area,  once it is healed the vines turned to dust, i did that to the rest of the wounds and moved onto the group of voltron, once everyone was healed we got the prisoners out, we took them to safety,

TIME SKIP:

when our mission of taking back control of that planet was done we departed with voltron, i sighed as i walked lance leave, then we were off to earth, we boarded our ships and took off, "will you ever talk to him when were done?", i sighed, "i mean you could make him yours", i sighed again, "no", it came out colder then it should have, "why?", "im so goddamn sick of my heart getting messed with!", she sighed, "i shouldnt have to fight someone over lance, if he has to choose between me and another girl i hope he doesnt pick me", "anyways he has his eyes on allura, he always had his eyes on her,
