New Start

( Two Years Later )

You're sitting by the patio outside your house, the sweet smell of coffee lingers around the area making you smile.

After two years of running away from your acquaintances that you wanted to forget, you finally stabilized your own life and had a small coffee shop at a new city.

You sighed, "This peacefulness... I wish it will last forever, ".

Your eyes lingered around the area, deep down you knew it wouldn't last long as you wished, but surely, when the time comes, you will be ready to face all the forgotten problems.

The ringing sound from your doorbell rang out of the sudden, "Coming! "you said loudly and quickly walked to the main door.

What you saw after opening the door was nothing but a bouquet of your favourite flower with a small letter. You picked it up before closing the door and walked back to the patio outside.

You sat down, "Who is this from?" you said as you carefully unfolded the letter.

"Dear Y/n,

It's been 2 years since you're gone. I know this is too sudden but I'll meet you tomorrow at your shop.

Sincerely,
An old friend of yours."

"An old friend of mine? " You frowned as you stare at the flower then to the letter again. 

Which old friend is this?

You shrugged it off and continued to enjoyed your coffee in the lovely evening.

"Good morning~ "You smiled a big one to your employers as you wave your hand.

"Good morning, boss! "They answered with a smiley face, happy to see their boss was in a good mood.

You walked to the main door of your coffee shop and turned the sign board from 'Close' to 'Open'.

"Let's do our best today too~! "You gave a thumbs up to encouraged your worker to do their best.

"Yes, boss!"

You smiled at them, but then it slowly faded away as you remember the letter from yesterday.

You glanced outside and saw a couple holding hand while walking toward your shop.

"Don't think too much, Y/n. It might just be a scam. " You thought in your head.

A sighed escaped your mouth, slowly turning around and walked back to your office again. The worker had started working diligently as you always treat them nicely and even gifted them stuff as a reward sometimes.

The time passed by quicker than you imagine, the coffee shop of yours was bustling with customers.

As you're working yourself in the computer, a worker of yours suddenly came in with a frown on her face.

"What's wrong, Yeri?"

"Boss, there's a guy claiming as your old friend and he said he had an appointment with you but I don't think I can trust him at all," She frowned and thought that the guy was just another man trying to pursue you.
