S/o gets reincarnated as a cat (Kaminari)

There wasn't any blood, which made the situation even scarier. Kaminari had no idea what to do. He wasn't prepared for something like this, how could he be? This was never supposed to happen. You were laying there, almost completely motionless. He walked to you and pulled you to his arms, he leaned against the wall, and brushed the hair off of your face. You were still breathing weakly. It didn't seem like you were badly hurt, but he couldn't know for sure.

"Denki? What happened?", you whispered.

"The villains-they threw you and I heard something break...", he stuttered.

"Oh, now I remember."

"Are you in any pain?"

"My chest feels pretty weird and uncomfortable, but I don't really know if it hurts."

You tried to get up, but that's when the pain hit. It felt like someone had jabbed a burning hot knife to your side. One of your ribs must have broken, and slashed your lung. You shrieked and fell back down. You could feel something spreading inside your chest, and suddenly, you couldn't breathe. You realized this was it. This was as far as you'd go.

"[Name], [Name], what is happening? Tell me.", Kaminari panicked.

Suddenly you went totally limb and quiet. You weren't breathing anymore, and the light was gone from your eyes.

"No, [Name], no, you were just... No.", Kaminari whispered.

When the paramedics came, Kaminari was still holding you. He was crying, but not making a sound. He felt so powerless. His love had just been ripped away from him, and he hadn't done anything. He wasn't able to help, and he had taken down the few villains too late.

He let the paramedics take you away from him, and check if his injuries needed medical attention. He was just told to go home and rest. Kaminari just laid in his bed, staring at the ceiling, he wasn't crying anymore, but he felt unbelievably numb and empty. He shifted his gaze from the ceiling to the window. It was dark outside, but he thought he saw a weird shadow behind the window. He sat up and opened the window and a cat jumped in. It sat down on his bed and stared at him.

"Hus, go away.", he sighted.

The cat just kept staring, with those (e/c) eyes like yours. It was a funny looking cat, the fur reminded Kaminari of your hair, and the cat had an odd look on it's face.

"Go outside.", he said as he pointed at the window.

The cat just padded to Kaminari's pillow and curled up to a fluffy ball. Kaminari just sighted and closed the window. He didn't mind the cat, it would be nice to have company. He laid down, and the cat moved a bit so it was basically curled up in his armpit. Kaminari stroked the cat gently. It was soft and warm, and the animal was breathing calmly. It made Kaminari feel a bit calmer too, but also sad. He wanted you to be there with him, laying on his bed, and sleeping beside him. Kaminari wanted to stroke your hair and wrap his arms around you.

It seemed the cat noticed his distress, since it got up and butted it's head against his cheek, like an attempt to cheer him up.

"Well, maybe you're not too bad."

Soon after Kaminari fell asleep, with the cat watching over him as it would continue to do in the future.
