Chapter 49

Ali's POV:

"Ali.." He said starring straight into my eyes.

Tears were also already building in his.

"Guys, how about we leave them alone," Liam said popping up behind Harry.

"Liam, what happened to your nose!?" Louis shouted running out of the room along with everyone else.

I didn't get to hear the answer since Harry had walked in and shut the door.

"Ali..." He whispered with his voice breaking.

I let tears roll down my face, "Harry.."

"I missed you.." He whispered.

I nodded starring at the floor.

"I missed you too..."

Silence fell over us and I hated it. Things haven't been this awkward since we first kept getting left alone to kiss.

"What...uh.. What happened to Liam's nose?" I asked trying to stop crying but was unsussecful.

I looked up and saw him scratch the back of his head.

"I..er..Attacked him. Ended up punching him in the nose a few times and busting his lip."

My eyes got wide, "Why'd you attack him?!"

He looked down and shoved his hands into his swim trunk pockets.

"Because he wouldn't let you see me..."

"Oh."

I was touched and felt myself crying some more.

But then the silence fell over us again..

Minutes passed and we just stood there. Finally he spoke up.

"I really wanted to see you..."

I chuckled but it sounded more like a sob.

"I did too...But it wasn't the best idea to see you out there..."

"I realized that after hitting Liam... But really I wouldn't of cared. I missed you too much and being away from you was painful."

I let out a small cry and he walked over to me and pulled me in his arms.

It felt so familiar and I broke down even more. 

I had missed him so much..

"Seeing you with her is painful," I whispered.

I heard him let out a sob and he hugged me tighter.

"I hate this. I hate seeing you in pain. I didn't know! I didn't know, I swear! I don't want this! I'm furious! Ali, I want to be with you! I love you!!! And I just hate this!!"

I buried my face in his chest trying to control my emotions.

I was sad and crying because of the pain and how much I missed him.

But my heart was flutering from those three words.

He had said it over the phone but now hearing him saying it in person...

"Do you really?" I cried in disbelief.

Was this really happening?

Did Harry Styles really just say, "I love you," to me.

He pulled back, but kept his arms wrapped around me. He leaned down and rested his forehead against mine.

"I do, Ali.. I really do love you.."
