I was telling Rachel an incident of my childhood when I noticed that she wasn't paying attention.

Her face was pale and her eyes held fear in them.

"Sunshine, are you okay?"

She didn't reply. I was going to ask her again but before I could speak, a man came and stood beside our table, facing Rachel.

"Missed me, babe?", he asked.

Rachel was looking too shocked but she managed to whisper," Nathan."

Nathan? I've never heard that name before.

Maybe he was an old friend or relative.

"What are you doing here?", I heard Rachel say a few moments later.

"Well, coincidence, babe. I was just having a client meeting and I saw you.", he smirked.

Rachel kept quiet and the man turned towards me.

"Well, I see you've got a new toy, Rachel.", he said pointing at me.

"I thought you'd have changed after becoming rich. But no! Once a slut, always a slut."

"Don't you dare speak to Rachel that way. And who the hell are you?", I asked him shouting.

He gave an evil laugh before speaking,"Why don't you ask Rachel who I am. I'm sure she must be delighted to tell."

I looked towards Rachel and she was crying.

Crying!

Fuck. I'm going to kill this bastard for making my Sunshine cry.

"Have you told him about your past or are you keeping him in dark? Does he know about 'him'? Well, I'm pretty sure if he knew, he'd be disgusted to even sit here with you.", he continued speaking.

I've had enough of him.

"That's it. Before I lose it, I want you to leave. NOW.", I screamed.

The guy looked at me for a few moments and then at Rachel before speaking,"It was great to see you again."

With this, he started to walk away.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw Noah standing towards the other end of the room, looking as confused as me.

'Everything okay?', he mouthed.

I nodded towards him before I took Rachel's hand and walked out of the hotel.

She was not crying, but tears kept rushing out her eyes as I held her hand walked towards the park near the hotel.

As soon as I made her sit near a tree in the park, she broke down and I didn't stop her.

I wanted her to let go her pain and sadness. I wanted her to cry as mush as she can, because this will be the last time she'll cry.

She calmed down a little and used her hands to wipe the tears away.
