It's been a week since Aaron came to my office.

I haven't seen him after that day but I did saw some pictures clicked by the media of him with Julia outside a club.

Maybe they got back together!

This thought does hurt but I know that even if they're not together, there's not going to happen anything between me and him.

It's Sunday today and I didn't want to sit at home all day. So, I decided to go shopping.

I'm a girl after all.

After getting dressed, I leave for the mall.

After 4 hours, approximately 15 shops and around 20 dresses, I'm finally standing at the billing counter, paying for my last dress for today

After 4 hours, approximately 15 shops and around 20 dresses, I'm finally standing at the billing counter, paying for my last dress for today.

While waiting for my transaction to finish, I heard a girl's voice," Shit! I forgot my wallet at home."

I turned around and saw a girl I know standing in the adjacent counter.

She looked up from her purse and said to the guy behind the counter," I'm sorry but put aside the things I selected. I've forgotten my wallet."

"That's fine. I'll pay for it.", I interrupted her.

She looked at me," Rachel!"

"Hi Aishley.", I smiled at her.

"This is really embarrassing. You don't have to pay, I'll buy it some other time.", she protested.

"That's okay.", I said handing my card to the guy.

After billing, we left the shop together.

"Thank you Rachel. You don't really know me still you-", Aishley started but I interrupted her.

"It's really okay. And yes, I don't really know you but now that our companies are working together, I think we'll be seeing each other a lot.", I winked.

"I'd really be delighted to have you as my friend.", she smiled.

15 minutes later, we were sitting at a coffee shop, talking and laughing.
She was almost my age and we instantly hit off.

I haven't had any friend since high school and talking to Aishley made me realise how much I've missed having one.

We were enjoying our hot chocolate when out of the blue she said," Aaron was right, your pictures don't do justice to your beauty."

"Aaron said that?", I asked, a little shocked.

She smiled nervously," I wasn't supposed to tell you that, was I?"

I didn't push the topic further but knowing that Aaron talks about me made my heart flutter with happiness.

After chatting some more, we exchanged numbers and said goodbye.

Every Sunday, we have a family dinner at my father's mansion. As per my mom's orders, no matter how busy you are, you can't skip this dinner and there shouldn't be any business talk at the dinner table.

I was talking to dad when mom entered the living room," Where is Aishley? Dinner is almost ready. If she comes late again I-"

"Relax mom! I'm here.", Aishley enters the room with some shopping bags in her hands.

Mom just glares at her and ask us all to move to the dining room.

Even if we pretend that mom's orders irritates us, but deep inside we're all glad she makes us do this.
Being the owners of a company demands a lot of time which makes us ignore the people we love. But at least once in a week, we sit together as a family like any normal household and talk about normal stuff.

"What's going on in your life Aish?", dad asked.

"Just the usual. Shooting a documentary."

Aishley is a photographer and a short film maker. And trust me, she's really good at it.

He nodded," And you Aaron?"

"Just the business, dad."

"I heard Julia is in town."

"She's leaving in two days. She was just on a holiday.", I replied as a matter of fact.

"We have something to tell you.", said mom, " Now that Arthur have retired, we are going on a round the world trip."

"That's great mom. It's have been your dream since forever.", Aishley said excitedly.

"So when are you guys leaving?", I asked.

"Next week."

"And for how long will you be gone?"

"Around 6 months."

"I'm gonna miss you guys.", Aishley pouted.

After the dinner, I and Aish we sitting in the lawn with our drinks.

"I met Rachel today."

"Where?"

"In the mall. You were right, she is really beautiful, inside out.", she smiled.
"Have you planned on telling her about your feelings?"

"Not anytime soon. I know that she likes me. I can tell that by the way she reacts to my actions but she's still not ready for love. If I tell her now, she'll just freak out and completely shut me off. She needs time and I'm willing to wait."

Aishley just smiled," She is perfect for you."

I know she is!
